hey mate, thanks a lot. Caught the fish at a yacht club in east Freo. There aren't that many so really won't be hard to find. Honestly, there's probably nothing special about that particular spot - usually just blowfish there but there's some structure along the general East Freo area that hold fish. If I can find some more time I'll try and make a video on how to catch swan river samson fish at some point because Freo's def the best area to find them consistently.
Hey mate been watching some of your vids today. I’m in Perth for a few more days. Do you want to go for a session? I have lots to learn but enjoy the light tackle game
You're actually on the restaurant jetty so you're not meant to be fishing there. They will kick you off when they are open. Unfortunately the other boat jetties also are off limits so they will also kick you out of there too lol but seems like you got lucky good stuff
Hi mate, it sounds pretty stupid but your soo good at fishing I dare you to come down to my local spot (kent st weir) for a challenge it is Realy hard to catch bream there but I have only caught 1 and there is mulloway and tailor here. If u come fish the side with the boardwalk (it is the saltwater side) there is carp on the freshwater side too
Is about time for me to head out soon
Great video mate , nice to see the Swan still producing fish in the winter. Where is this spot ?

are you allowed to fish at that yacht club? great skippys
If you're respectful of the patrons, yes. But probably only if you're confident enough not to hit any expensive boats 😦
@@LightTackleAnglerWA ahahahahaha dw i normally use muss vibes and crankas around the yacht clubs so wont need to cast far. cheers

haha thanks man. sounds like a good spot, have never caught carp so that sounds like a good backup if the saltwater fish aren't biting
