I love Daniel Platzman’s drumming and it’s fun to see someone who can do it justice. “Platz” is very talented not only with drumming but he can pick up any instrument and play it.
His drumming style overshadows the melody and lyrics of the songs he covers.

Dude, I loved your covers of Imagine Dragons songs. Especially tiptoe, battle cry and believer. They are my #1 fav band on the planet w/ LINKIN PARK coming in at a close second. If you can do some more covers of Imagine Dragons, I'd be more than happy to listen.

I really would like to be able to play drums like you someday! I had to stop taking my drum lessons because I’m having a hard time finding time while in college now. I’ll definitely go back to playing drums though after I graduate. I can only play beginner songs right now. 😂

The excessive use of fills and flashy techniques takes away from the song itself.
If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have watched it. It’s his style and has always been. «Flashy technique», don’t you want to be impressed when watching a UA-cam video of a guy showing his drum technique?
If played just like the original, it would add nothing to it, in my opinion.

The groove in his Imagine Dragons cover is completely off. Its like hes not even listening to the original song.
The groove is lost in his interpretation of the Imagine Dragons song, making it hard to enjoy.
The rhythm he creates is messy and chaotic. Its hard to follow along with the music.
His exaggerated facial expressions are more distracting than entertaining.
His excessive energy on the drums detracts from the overall musical experience.
Cooper Drummer needs to tone it down. Its like hes trying way too hard to impress.
