I think this competition reveals a lot about what a listener values. NWTS is masterfully produce hip/rnb hybrid with melodic anthems and lots of replay-ability. 2014FHD is a masterful example of storytelling and conveying a message. I personally prefer 2014FHD.
J.cole can never do wrong in my eyes. I will 9/10 pick j.cole work. FHD is a classic solid album 10/10 he is genuinely happy when he aing and raps when telling his story I agree with the no features! Every message has meaning and brings light
I thought Lu won this one for sure. However Anthony makes talks up these albums so well I have to go back and listen to them again because I feel like I missed something. Great job guys.

I think 2014 Forest Hills Drive blows Nothing Was The Same out of the water. 2014 Forest Hills Drive has a way better concept and lyrical content as well as explaining that concept as if it’s a movie. I feel when I listen to 2014 Forest Hills Drive it’s like a soundtrack to his life. I have to disagree with Luca on a few things 1 being J Coles melodic performances on the album, I absolutely love his singing on apparently and I actually prefer that song over almost all songs on Nothing Was The Same. Also have to disagree with the Wet Dreamz take, that song is incredible and definitely fits the tracklist. Also I actually really enjoy Note To Self. I feel production is a huge thing for 2014 FHD I totally agree with everything with Anthony said with how it fits the vibe and the tracklist and all that. I definitely feel the production is a massive add for this album! Also Tale Of 2 Cityz i do think is the best produced song out of both records, or GOMD. I also think in this case the production being by J Cole does add to the tracklist. And im sorry Luca but 2014 FHD is absolutely 100% not boring production wise. Honestly it’s some of my favourite production ever. When it comes to impact yes Nothing Was The Same was huge for that kinda R&B/ Rap but FHD is what artists still to this day look at when wanting to make a strictly Rap album. Also if you look at sales J Cole still sold 361k first week and he did no promotion what’s so ever he announced it 2 weeks before and that was it. The only “promotion” he did was not even him doing it his song Fire Squad was leaked. If you wanna talk impact song wise I can name so many songs on FHD that have had an impact not just on me but on thousands very well millions of people. Songs like Love Yourz for example. Literally every song on 2014 FHD is better conceptually. 2014 I think blows NWTS out of the water when it comes to touching people. Luca talked about Not liking Note To Self. The message in this song is very impactful and all he did was sang for a bit. Overall I think 2014 is a better project and I think it sweeps NWTS. NWTS is a great project but I don’t think it touches 2014 FHD. The only way it beats it is numbers. I think Anthony win this one sorry Luca, man I love this series. Also my opinion might be slightly bias because 2014 FHD is in my top 2 favourite albums of all time interchangeable with FYEO. Overall I just think NWTS can’t touch 2014 FHD. Sorry I wrote like a whole essay 😂😂😂. Great Video Guys!!!

Tuscan leather alone is legendary, the transitions in nwts is crazy as hell and flows. The samples were legendary. No role modelz, wet dreamz, love yourz, 03 adolescence, and take of two citiez ALONE as 5 tracks are better than 80% of drakes catalog and that’s not biased at all. @@NFRPodcast I think Ant took that one! He was makin very strong points in the Artistry & Impact segment.
This has got to be the best videos you guys have ever made. So entertaining you guys definitely need to make a sequel to this episode arguing for another set of albums!
I think this competition reveals a lot about what a listener values. NWTS is masterfully produce hip/rnb hybrid with melodic anthems and lots of replay-ability. 2014FHD is a masterful example of storytelling and conveying a message. I personally prefer 2014FHD.
Damn y’all putting 2 of my fav albums against each other I can’t even choose 😩🔥🐐🐐
I love how heated these boys get making points
these are always so fucking hilarious their reactions to each others opinions got me dying😂
I go back to NWTS more than 2014 FHD. NWTS wins in my opinion.
because it has catchier tracks. the actual art is not comparable. fhd is like benihanas and nwts is like panda express lol.
@@mikem4481 drake has 5 projects with more critical acclaim than j cole's best project lol cole is the panda express

Nwts is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard in my life.

2Pac (All Eyez On me) - Biggie Smalls (Ready to die).

I will go with FHD in this one, 03 Adolescence just hits me different
Yall really gotta keep doing more of these! They’re great!
NWTS still better but like your opinion

Double platinum no features, #1 on the charts with no singles prior to release. Cole laid the groundwork for a viable yet completely different album rollout with this one that he had always said could work but nobody ever believed. I don't think people would rollout as out of the blue and nonchalant if it weren't for this album.
Triple platinum*
If you’re going to judge purely by numbers, then you have to also say drake is the best rapper ever lmao
Drake literally embarrasses Cole numbers wise lmao. Find a better argument please
Artistry - 2014 FHD
Production - NWTS
Impact - 2014 FHD
“And you might feel like nothing was the same”
I still been drinking on the low
I like Cole a lot more than Drake but NWTS sweeps Cole’s entire discography. I usually only like Drake’s single but NWTS and Take Care are both amazing albums and amongst the best of the 2010s
I would heavily, born sinner - kod are easily better than any drake project it terms of production and concept and artistry

Tuscan leather alone is legendary, the transitions in nwts is crazy as hell and flows. The samples were legendary. You have iconic songs like pound cake, from time, hold on we're going home, worst behaviour and not to mention started from the bottom which boomed everywhere! NWTS is a whole playlist on its own; something FHD isn't. As much I love Cole as well, none of his albums are better than NWTS and Take Care. The fact that Drake is able to blend his rnb and rap in such a top notch way is so underrated.
Tuscan Leather is one of the most well produced instrumentals of all time. That song alone takes it.
Anyone else felt the tension while watching this ? Lmao

2014 FHD got slightly the better concept but NWTS sweeps for everything else
Nah I would say production and lyricism goes to fhd

These albums were pretty much even for me for the longest time but NWTS takes it for me. I think Drake really made more timeless songs on there. 2014 FHD is dope but it feels more like it's from the time it came out in. I think NWTS aged much better. It really showed Drake's versatility and even maturity from his previous work as well his most concise work to date.
Was waiting for this and it was 1000% worth the wait🔥🔥🔥

I anticipate blood here 😂😂😂.
Two of my favourites project but NWTS it's just different man...one of the best albums of all time
That’s definitely a stretch. It doesn’t come near tpab or dark fantasy, wouldn’t even take it over something like the Eminem show.
One of the best albums of all time? You're really gonna put it in the same leagues as illmatic, the chronic, ATLiens, Led Zeppelin IV, sgt peppers, Dark side of the moon?

NWTS aged well with time & thats the definition of a classic how drake manifested hw he was gonna be at the top & it happened drake album flew over peoples’ heads Forest hills drive was a gd one 1st listen but we all know what pound cake means to the hiphop community ☝️
No role modelz, wet dreamz, love yourz, 03 adolescence, and take of two citiez ALONE as 5 tracks are better than 80% of drakes catalog and that’s not biased at all. I prefer to listen to drake more OFTEN but 2014FHD adds something to coles discography that drake doesn’t have and is still chasing to this day: a CLASSIC album.

NWTS got the production, diversity and lyrics, 2014FHD got the story telling…still both are classics
It‘s kinda unfair because 1.) is a more diverse artist in general…2.)Cole is more of a storyteller, more of a traditional rapper
