Thanks much
Are you kidding me? We have had all this rain and the Jan-Feb freeze that turned the soil to mush so I will try this...THANKS!
I've got some rotting apples on my counter. Not putting them in the trash now! They will be collecting bugs for me. Thanks for the tip!!!
It’s amazing how easy it is to collect the bugs with apple slices. You will also find your share of slugs on these apple slices as well. I was thrilled to see how successful this inexpensive way of collecting pill bugs and slugs could be and how I did not have to put poisons down around my edible garden.👍
Pill bugs are a disaster for young tender plants in the garden. I don’t plant for the bugs, I plant for me! I usually use Cory’s slug and snail bait and it does a good job. I will have to try the fruit trick and then feed the bugs to my chickens. Thanks for the tip!
Yeah 🥳 Glad I have a friend in the garden! Thanks for watching!! Feeding them to the chickens is a great idea!!
you are lost, those bugs are good for garden, stop spreading your crap
Actually they are not! I have watched every single one of my lettuce plants get destroyed from these pill bugs. They will devour any soft leafy plant. All of my kale that I planted from seedlings were eaten in one night! The pill bugs were all over the plants. If you are going to leave such a negative comment, please explain their benefit, as I and thousands of others on UA-cam have videos about how to rid these garden destroying pests.
That is an awesome and natural way to de-pest your garden without killing the bugs or poisoning yourself.
I love the idea of "relocating them elsewhere."
If they are as beneficial as your previous viewer commented, then you are redirecting their benefit to a more "fruitful" location.
Great video! Hope you can get your kale back.
