Rice actually holds an NFL record for holding the most NFL records.
Brady has the most
@@joshricci8459 definitely jerry
Yea but he.had single coverage most of the time
You all say Jerry but it's not in all Jerry has 36 overall shit Brady holds that much almost in being the only 44 year old to do half of the shit he just did believe if break it down Brady has well over 36
Just like next year everything he does will be a record first 45 year old to win a game run for a touchdown if he gets a sneak first 45 to do everything shit he will break 30 next year alone first 45 to win 1 game first 45 to win 2 games first 45 to score 1 touchdown first 45 to score 2 touchdown so on and so on so count all records think about and that's not counting most rings playoffs division wins passing records and all kinda shit

@@HimLahey You actually took the time to write that ? Jerry was 6'3 215 lbs. He was the only WR to embarrass Neon Deon despite not having track speed. Played at a higher level for at least 7 yrs longer than Moss. He was great enough to be invited to training camp at 42 yrs old - with the Broncos. He was cut because Shanahan said that Rice hurt the confidence of the younger WR's in the roster - he outplayed them .. AT 42 ! Randy moss literally caught how many balls one handed jerry can’t even use both hands without super glue

Andrew Munlin yea fuckin glue smartass
People who defend Moss are so quick to shit on Dante Culpepper. Culpepper's best season was 2004, where he had a 110 qb rating. You know what, Randy Moss was injured a lot that year and only caught a little more than 700 yards. He was a great QB. Culpepper's decline had to do with a massive knee injury, not losing Moss.
Meanwhile Jerrys best season he had Elvis Grbac throwing more passes to him than Steve Young. Jerry made every QB look great.
Ah, it's nice to see an educated football fan in this chat.
Moss had a one dementional game GOING DEEP. RICE COULD CATCH A 5 YARD PASS ONCE A WEEK AND TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE. HIS ROUTES WERE BETTER THEN ANYONE ! AND NO ONE WILL EVER QUESTION THE MANS WORK ETHIC. EASILY GREATEST RECEIVER ALL TIME, AND PROBABLY GREATEST FOOTBALL PLAYER EVER PERIOD!!!!!!!!!

1. Moss 2. TO 3. Rice
1. You're most likely young and never saw rice in his prime, moss could not even get near what rice did on a weekly basis. Or a crack head that grew up a vikings fan
Please tell these fools!!! Moss isn't even fit to wash Rice's dirty jock.
Chris D Moss had a chance to spout his BS claim directly to Joe Montana; but you saw he wasn't brave nor stupid enough to make that "I'm a better WR then Rice" to Joe!! LOL
Jerry Rice is literally the greatest FOOTBALL player ever not named Tom Brady.
Nah it’s Lawrence Taylor
Deion Sanders is
Between 1981 and 1994 there were two types of people in the NFL, Lawerence Taylor, and people Lawrence Taylor allowed to exist.
He’s the greatest ever not including QB’s. He’s top 5 all time including everyone.
Physical attributes mean nothing if you lack the desire. The fact that he talked about down years is a testament to how good Jerry was.1200 at 40 is pretty impressive.
Men Lie, Women Lie, But numbers don't. All hail the Goat Jerry Rice. In his 40s and was putting up numbers with the Raiders.
Facts 💯
In my opinion, Jerry Rice is the greatest wide receiver of all time. But, Randy Moss is the best. I think there's a difference between the two terms. Greatest goes more along with your legacy such as success, longevity, work ethic, etc... But, in Moss' best years, his impact on the team and his play slightly surpassed Rice's best years. Remember, Moss impacted the game in more ways than just his own production. Moss almost guaranteed a constant double or even triple team. That opens up the rest of the offense. There's a reason why he was on two of the three greatest scoring offenses in NFL history. But, Rice beats him out on the things that really matter legacy-wise. He's a better winner, hard worker, better leader, etc..
You do realize that Moss was also teamed up with Chris Carter who wasn't to shabby himself for a while... And I hope you also realize that Rice had a higher yds per catch then Moss did if comparing their first 4-5 years in the league... Not to mention YAC records started to be kept BECAUSE of Rice... He gained more yards then anyone could imagine that the league had to start keeping track of it. I could mention many more things but it would take to long. I might say Moss had more potential but so did Kwame Brown when he came out of high school for the NBA...
3649ers moss was a deep threat so ofcorse his yac isnt going to be as great as jerry rice's owns.
Mike suapaia can u blame moss for not having a ring? i dont believe the 49'ers of the 80's could have beat that 2007 giants team in the superbowl. did you see their pass rush? tom brady had no time to throw the ball and before moss went to new england in his 10th year he never had a joe montana type quarter back.
mritizwatitiz Rice averaged over 20 yards a catch in one of his first 5 seasons. Something Moss has NEVER done. Rice even averaged over 18 yds a catch over the course of his first 5 seasons. Which is also a higher average then Moss. If you're saying Moss is such a deep threat and Jerry isn't why is he beating him in those categories? Not to mention it became a lot easier for teams to air it out in the 2000's then in the 80's and early mid 90's. Even over the course of their entire career, Moss only averaged slightly better yds per catch then Rice did. You should do research to see how many TD's Rice had that were deep passes.. I can almost promise you Rice had more TD's of 30 yds or more then Moss did.
Mike suapaia who was randy moss qb's his first 9 season tho? jerry rice had Joe Montana his first 7 seasons and steve young for the next 8 seasons... randy mossonly had tom brady for only his 10th and 12th season in the nfl and yet randy moss was still on pace to break jerry rice recieving yards and td record when he decided to retired. keep in mind that randy moss missed 1 year because he retired and came back. and cover 3 and cover 4 didnt exist in the jerry rice era so ofcorse he's going to have more deep catches despite the the rule changes.
I'd rather have Randy Moss to make those unbelievable catches then Jerry Rice who got less hands than Moss and used stickum. Not to mention Randy Moss was the most explosive receiver.
even chris carter said jerry is the most explosive. you are stupid is hell
+ethan pond Cris Carter also mentioned he would tell Randy in private he was the best he had ever seen. I think people get too caught up in who is the greatest and who had the greatest career. Jerry had the better career but Randy was the better receiver.

Deepscope22 lol, jerry was better
xxx xxx not even close, rice all the way
Love Randy I’m a Marshall guy. Always rooted for him but Jerry Rice never quit on his team
Jerry Rice is the best. He was consistent over a 20 year career. He wasn't the most talented or the most athletic. You are hard pressed to find a spectacular acrobatic catch by Rice but what you will find is consistent route running and the ability to get open and make the catch when his team needed it. He was a machine and the master of his craft.
Also Jerry Rice holds multiple NFL Records... Rice played in the 1980s and 1990s when the game was more aggressive....💯💯💯💯
Jerry Rice was also one of the best run blocking WRs ever.
Moss is the most talented I've ever seen, Rice by far had the greatest career ever. This analogy also applies to Rodgers vs Brady in my opinion.
Jason Settle Great example!
This is a fair statement.
Or Brees vs Brady.
With QBs I ask myself, "Would they thrive anywhere else?" Brady needs a good team around him. Rodgers would be a beast wherever. I don't even count rings. Those are team accomplishments. Who can make every throw, improvise, scramble, stare a rush down? Manning, Elway, Marino...so many QB studs many of whom didn't have the supporting cast but had plenty of individual talent.
At the same time, you really can't discount clutch performance and intangibles when it comes to QB's either and that's where QB's like Montana and Brady really shine
Jerry did it before they made it more offensive favored league.
That goes both ways though. I do believe Jerry Rice is way better than Moss.they did change a lot of rules to favor the wide receiver they also changed a lot of the rules to go against the wide receiver. So yeah it goes both ways

Gonna use a John Wick quote to settle this.
Rice was a man of focus, commitment, and sheer f**king will. Something Moss knew very little about.
Very little ? Moss knew absolutely nothing about that !
Rice is the best Football player ever in my opinion And Randy went to the big dance with us he knows how we feel about Jerry “CMoN man”
Larry Fitzgerald just made 2nd on the receiving yards list with 15,975 yds he only needs 7,000 more yards to catch Rice 😂
Those stats wont mean anything unless you got the rings.
bruh bruh Not really? Drew Brees has 1 ring but will probably set every passing record by the time he retires. A team is more than just 1 player when it comes to winning games. Moss is the best in my opinion though. Rice cheated

@@GRONKOSAURUS yea we know a team is more than one player. But we talking about the best wide reciever to play the game. The G.O.A.T of all wide receivers. And thats Jerry Rice. Randy Moss made Randall Cunningham and Donte Culpepper look like pro bowlers....
As great as Rice was, he played in a perfect system for his skill set. Not to mention he played for two HOF QBs in Montana and Rice, and another MVP in Rich Gannon.
Moss lined up with Chris Carter and Gronk. He had Duante Culpeper in his pre injury MVP level prime . Randall Cunningham during his Comeback year. Tom Brady ...plus DB's could throw WR's around like ragdolls in Rice's era. Rice went to Oakland in his mid 30's and became the No. 1 reciever while Tim Brown was still in his prime . Made two pro bowls while he was there. When Moss entered his MID 30's he was no longer a pro bowler nor a No.1 . No contest....RICE No 1.
Plus ...the " system " Rice played in was a standard offensive system that is still used by Tom Brady , Rodgers , Brees and Big Ben. If anything , Moss played in a more evolved version of the West Coast offense + enjoyed rule changes that benefitted the passing game .

*AGAIN* cmon brah what you smokin?

I know there’s probably some urban legend Moss ran an incredible 40 yard dash but 4.12? Come on Bruh check documented facts. Moss was great but how many times did you see Moss go over the middle? Rice was a complete WR; he blocked downfield, went over the middle, helped win Super Bowls, etc
There is no comparison and any knowledgeable fan would understand that. Vernon Davis was 6’3, 260lbs, and ran a 40 in 4.4. All documented but it didn’t translate into greatness! Only 2 seasons of greatness. Moss was great for 4-5 years. Rice was great for an entire career. Tell em Mike! These fools talking about Moss is better than Rice need to be taught a lesson. I will add that Rice had 14 1,000 yard seasons! Let me repeat 14 1,000 yard seasons! No receiver has even came close to that including Moss. Moss only had 10. Additionally Rice had a better catch/ dropped pass percentage. Lastly in his best season Rice had over 1,800 yards. Moss only had 1,600. This debate is not even close. Men lie, women lie, but the numbers dont'. And lets not even talk about the superbowl rings. Man Ray Charles can see and Stevie doesn't have to wonder that Rice trumps Moss everyday of the week and twice on Sundays!
You know your a bad ass whenever you don't even half to really say anything and people back you up on being the best when someone else proclaims it.
Even though Emmitt Smith has more yards, TD's, and Championships than Barry Sanders I think it is safe to say that Barry was better than Emmitt. Just because Rice has better statistics than Moss doesn't mean he was better, he just played with better QB's, Montana and Young and on better teams.
You don't just judge teams or player based off paper. If that's the case then USC was the best team in the 2005 season. No they weren't because they played Texas and Texas won and what matters is what's done on the field. Stats aren't subjective, they are facts. If stats don't matter, then why do we play the game? The eye test is dumb. If that's the test then we should just say a player is the best without them playing a down because they have the best mechanics/skill.
Agree with Barry being better than Emmitt , but Rice is the GOAT . You can give the ball to a RB quicker than you can give to a receiver . A WR like has to work a little bit to get open . Jerry wasn't the fastest or the tallest , but he could take a 5 yard pass and turn it into a 80 yard TD. People put up the argument about Jerry Rice having better QBS , but Randy Moss was on some great Vikings teams his first couple of years . Randy had good QBS with strong arms and people weren't saying this when he was killing the stat sheet with these same QBS .
The difference in those comparisons is that Barry objectively would have broken Smith's record had he continued playing. He kept producing with age. You can compare them head to head and see how/why Barry Sanders was better.
With all these people claiming Moss, it's always about what he could have done. Never what he actually DID. Because what he did simply didn't hold a candle to what Jerry Rice did. So there's an illogical argument to suit the belief instead of facts and figures. Here's a fact: Moss fell off a cliff in 2010 at 33. Basically as soon as his physical prime ended. All the great all time receivers had some life at 33. Rice should've been MVP in 1995 at 33, leading the league with 1848 yards, catching something like 122 passes and scoring 15 TD's. Steve Largent was still productive. Art Monk was still productive. Tim Brown was still productive. Charlie Joiner was still productive. Moss was completely dependent on his physical gifts. Once they eroded, he went from being a threat, to a guy who got let go by TWO separate teams in one season. And you wanna call him the GOAT?!?! PSSSH! Sit. Down.
Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot Man I couldn't have said it any better myself . Like you said Randy Moss depended on his physical gifts and like you also said once they eroded he wasn't much of a factor . You can't run deep routes and out run DBs for 15 to 20 years because the league is getting younger and faster every year . The greatest in every sport understood that their gifts wouldn't be the same as time went on and they would have to rely on their knowledge of their respected sport and the remaining ability they had left to be productive at the twilight of their careers . Michael Jordan and Jerry Rice understood this . Randy Moss apparently didn't receive the memorandum .
EXACTLY... STEVE YOUNG, JOE MONTANA, & BILL WALSH..?? Yeah Rice did have a more Celebrated Career.. BUT AS AN INDIVIDUAL RANDY MOSS IS BETTER THAN ANYONE TO PLAY THE WR POSITION.. Hands Down

@@xaviervega468 bro what lmao. football is single elimination. rarely does the best team win. this is the ultimate team sport. if you think that a single player, let alone a wide receiver, has ability to solely win championships then youre delusional. too many variables. 98 vikings and 07 patriots lost a combined 1 regular season game by the way. chip shot missed field goal in 98 and david tyree miracle catch in 07.
@@coreystenson2010 Moss's subpar performances in those game is a big reason they didn't win.
I love Randy but this is not even a debate. Sure, Randy was a FREAK and probably Top 2-3, but just compare the playoff numbers. NO ONE in the history of the NFL was more clutch in big games than Jerry Rice. His Super Bowl numbers are untouchable.
That and regular season He’s still had the greatest stretches and career of anyone ever
Rice is the GOAT Randy stop it!!
T.O
I fuck with Randy but he trippn
Always will be Rice its painfully obvuous and never quit on his team.
A better debate is Randy Moss vs Terrell Owens.
Two players with similar body of works, career stats, and even personalities.
Both teamhopped a lot, both are ringless, both of their careers nearly overlapped.
Now this is a real debate that requires actual thought. Because they’re both legends but so similar.
1 game - Calvin Johnson
1 season - Randy Moss
1 career - Jerry Rice
Luka Polic not bad
Very well put.
Calvin Johnson career or Julian Edleman career?
@kush Lungs I'll take the rings and super bowl MVP. Edleman second to only Jerry Rice in playoff receiving yards and catches. Love Calvin Johnson tho
id switch season to Calvin, he is the current holder for yards in a season, moss is most incosistent player.
Lolol people give Rice wayyyyy too much credit, was he really good absolutely, and without a doubt an all time great. But lets be real how many guys played with not one but 2 hall of fame qbs for the majority of their career. Imagine calvin Johnson or Moss with over a decade catching passes from hall of famers and on great teams.
imagine the 07 season, moss and brady but a decade. Would be straight wild numbers
Imagine Rice playing today's soft era where you can barely breathe on the receiver. Rice would have well over 30,000 yds receiving.
@@xaviervega468 lol they played in the general era, Rice retired in 03, randy was a 4 time pro bowler by that point
David Roque Guerrero yes moss and Brady went buck wild. Went 19-0 that season
@@alp21188 19-0 my ass. They went 18-1 and the one game was THE SUPER BOWL. To quote the great Michael Jordan "It don't mean a thing if you ain't got that ring"
Jerry also played with 2 Hall of Fame Quarterbacks for like 15 years tho
That's why I no longer have discussions about the best players in team sports. I wanted to play wide receiver my whole life because of Jerry Rice, when I got to high school nobody could throw me the ball. Even when you have a quarterback who can throw the ball he needs protection so you have to have a receiver who can run the route and have good hands, you have to have a quarterback who can throw the ball to the receiver, then you have to have an offensive line that can give the quarterback the time and protection to do that. Thats why Tom Brady has been so successful. Randy Moss is a better wide receiver then Jerry Rice because he could do everything Jerry Rice could do but Jerry Rice couldn't do everything Randy Moss could do. Unfortunately as you put it Jerry had great quarterbacks and Jerry also didn't share his catches with another great receiver like Chris Carter 🤷🏾♂️.
Thats not his fault lmaoo
Ohhhh boyyyy I got some new ammo for you Jerry Rice haters
“Jerry only benefitted by having 2 HOF QBs beside him”
*Receiving Yards Per Game*
Jerry Rice with Elvis Grbac: 96.9
Randy Moss with Tom Brady: 87.1
Jerry Rice was a wildly productive GOAT receiver with or without HOF QBs.
But moss had Brady later in his career
Moss' voices always cracks me up.
JERRY RICE , RANDY MOSS , TERRELL OWENS .
ALL WORE RED & GOLD BABY
Anybody who ever watched Randy in his prime knows who the goat is. The years he had a HOF QB he blew up the record books. Replace Culpeper with Montana and moss gets a handfull of rings too
LOL "Blew up the record books" The only record he broke was TD's for a season, and it took him all 16 games to break a record Rice set in only 12.
Xavier Vega and who was throwing him the ball(?)
Daniel Hardman From 2000 to 2004 Moss helped make Daunte Culpepper an All Pro. After Moss’s departure, Culpepper struggled to stay a starter in the NFL, ultimately playing five more years for four different teams, with a combined record of 5-22.
Jay Stein
Because Daunte wrecked his knee in 2005 and was never the same again. Moss fanboys always conveniently leave that fact out.
Plus it's laughable you want to give Montana the credit for Rice's record when fucking TOM BRADY was throwing to Moss when he broke the record in 2007.....and it STILL took Moss 4 more games.
@@xaviervega468 Rice butt buddies always forget that rookie Randy Moss broke the single season scoring record in 1998 with a near 40 year old quarterback who wasn't even in the NFL prior to that season!! Randle Cunningham retired in 1996 and was working for a granite buisiness when coach Dennis Green called him up lolol!!! Due to Moss's dominance, Cunningham made the Pro Bowl that year lolol!!! 😆 😆
A 20 year career is crazy..
Loved Rice when he played. But give me Moss, and I'm good.
It´s not just about numbers. Rice played 4 SBs, won 3, scored eight touchdowns in those games and was mvp in one. Rice is in the debate about who is the greatest PLAYER of all time. When the conversation is about greatest receiver, well, there´s no conversation at all. Stickum? Moss played with better gloves than that and stickum don t make you run better routes or beat guys like Deion.
Played for more seasons? Well, play for bigger time e still be a great player is a merit.
Miss didn’t cheat though. Jerry rice admitted to cheating by using stickum.
Rice all day! This man is in the conversation for the GOAT NFL player. It ain't even close for WRs.
Randy never played with a Hall of Fame QB HIS whole career like Jerry did
Daniel S 2 words... Tom Brady
that was at the end of Randy's career.......
WHOLE career ..........whole career
well, i guess you're right. tom bady is NOT IN THE HALL OF FAME , lol
Rice didn't play with hall of fame quarterbacks his "entire" career......
Imagine if Moss had Brady for 10 years lol
Randy would have been the best ever or could have been if he did not half ass it or take games off as he said he did...... The best ever never does that, he is no Rice because of work Ethic and attitude etc., he had so much potential and had a great career but could have been much more..........
Probably would've lasted longer with, say, stickum. Pretty impressive "work ethic."
Im here after hearing Moss say that Jerry Rice is #3, or 4 on his ALL-TIME list.. LOL!!
Rice is pretty much the Michael Jordan of wife recievers, He has no blemishes on his record, His stats & Perfect Super Bowl record automatically make him the 🐐
Giio TM Rice took an L super bowl 37
Rice took an L in 2002 vs. Tampa Bay when he was playing for the Raiders.
Giio TM Rice took an L to Tampa
Giio TM "wife" recievers? funniest comment all day
Giio TM kareem has better stats than mj
Moss was great and more explosive but he admitted he took plays off and was washed in his early 30s. Rice was the complete receiver could do it all and was still putting up 1,000 yard seasons at 40. Rice was 100% dedicated to the game, Moss was not.
Jerry Rice was more explosive than Moss? Come on C. Carter
+Bonk Caesar go back and watch how many slants Rice broke for long td's
Todd Brown He is no way as explosive as Moss...no way
who was better at YAC ? Don't get me wrong, I was attending Marshall when Moss was there. He was a freak
+Bonk Caesar obviously he meant to say Moss
+Bonk Caesar ... ok do you know the definition of "explosive" ?
Because I mean.... literally... Jerry Rice is the definition of an EXPLOSIVE WD, Randy Moss may be the all time best Vertical WD, but i dont ever remember Randy Moss having a Highlight over the middle....
Jerry Rice lived in the middle slant cuts, SO HE CAN EXPLODE OUT (Burst Speed) .... it is different than Moss Zig / Fade. Those are more of TOP SPEED favored plays.
Jerry Rice is the Goat of wide receivers !!!
Chris Carter explained it best... And Chris is one of the best also
Moss says that then they brake out the stat comparison, haha! It’s a insult personally to Jerry Rice because he worked hard everyday off the field. Moss never matched his worth ethic.
Yeah, it takes a lot of effort to slather yourself in glue lol
Superbowl Wins are the determining factor of how good a receiver was?
If Calvin and Andre Johnson won't win one I'd still put them over Boldin, Jacoby Jones or Victor Cruz.
It's a horrible stat to use in an argument, because in football you can't influence what the other guys on the team are doing.
And yes, Rice > anyone else.
If the WR had a great impact in winning of the super bowls, then yes, that could be an argument. Boldin, Jacoby, and Victor were all on defensive teams. Rice was on a heavy pass offense team, and his contributions were important to the 49ers in those Super Bowls. But yes, Calvin and Andre are better than Boldin, Jacoby, and Cruz.
Jerry Rice had Joe Montana and Steve Young for almost his entire career.
Randy Moss had:
Brad Johnson, Randall Cunningham, Jeff George, Daunte Culpepper, Todd Bouman, Gus Frerotte, Kerry Collins, Andrew Walter, Tom Brady, Matt Cassel, Brett Favre, Alex Smith, Colin Krapernick, Vince Young, Aaron Brooks, Spergon Wynn, Rusty Smith, Marques Tuiasosopo, Brian Hoyer and Jay Fiedler
Moss would have destroyed Rice's numbers if he had Montana and Young for his whole career
Exactly what I said. Those two early rings were because Montana not him. Technically he only won one superbowl.
Moss had Brady in the Super Bowl and came up small like he always did.
@@xaviervega468 Moss came up short in a nearly undefeated season with one of the greatest teams of all time. Or to the NFL was he a early reminder of what Marshawn Lynch was ? And didn't need that example of a masculine, confident, and cocky black player influencing future black players to imitate. And reflecting what such conduct developing could lead to if you absorb such behavior as a black player losing it supposedly all on the biggest stage within the league ?

Jerry Rice Is The GOAT Facts check the records.
Nightstalker_55 They are talking about Moss and Rice not Gronk and Gonzalez
@Nightstalker_55 Except when you compare Rice's first 14 years to Moss's career Moss' per game averages don't even hold up.
Furthermore. Gronk actually CAN make the impact argument against Tony because Gronk has the big playoff performances that Tony does not. Moss cannot make that argument against Rice. In fact Moss was notorious for coming up small in the playoffs.
No problem I respect that
@@ricegoat8091 Talk about dense...
*Receiving Yards Per Game*
96.9 Jerry Rice with Elvis Grbac
95.5 Julio Jones
87.1 Randy Moss with Tom Brady
86.1 Calvin Johnson
But yeah he only looks “good” because of 2 HOFs QBs
Super Bowls mean everything because its says your a WINNER!
Jerry Rice #1 receiver All Time. Stats dont lie and Super Bowl MVP
Well in Moss’ defense he didn’t have Montana or Young but Rice is and will always be-theeeee Best
He had Brady...
I remember watching a segment back in the day where the other teams KNEW the Vikings were running the ball, because Randy would just leave the huddle and his "body psychology" basically told them.. that he wasn't involved in the play... so they knew it was a run.. because he could care less about run blocking.
T.O. believes the same about himself. Old news. All very talented, but Rice was much more disciplined about staying in shape, practicing hard. He was a mad man about his business, totally focused. Rice was no fluke.
Moss did more with less. He made Gus Frerotte and Jeff George look good.
He also played with Randall Cunningham and Tom Brady....
@Nightstalker_55 Moss played with 2 HoF QBs one of which is top 2 of all time
And Culpepper and Cunningham
@Nightstalker_55 Moss had the GOAT QB of all-time in the Super Bowl and still underperformed.
@Nightstalker_55 Yeah but Brady has 6 rings without Moss and none with him.
Rice was too competitive. Give me someone with a better work ethic and I'll tip my hat... you're the greatest Jerry. FLASH #80
Joe Marron Rice did have Young, Montana and Rich Gannon...Moss did what he did wit OK QBs
Totally agree
Rice is a world and a half ahead!!!
Winning a ring is a team accomplishment though, but I DO say Rice is WAY better than Moss.
Jerry Rice is the GOAT.
Jerry cheated all those years and had elite quarterbacks
@@josepescador5852 lol that’s not cheating
But the patriots got caught cheating the yr. They lost to the g men
@@stevenbrown6720
Serves them right.
Randy Moss caught TDs from 20 DIFFERENT QBS just that alone should put Randy on top ALL TIME because you have to learn the QBs style of passing and Randy did it 20 times and HUGE numbers even if you still think Rice is the best how can ANYONE disagree with me on how crazy that is fucking 20 DIFFERENT QBs. Moss would make average QBs DOMINATE
True
Learn the style of passing? Randy ran streaks and if he didnt like the way things were going wud just take a rest and quit until he was gone
Imagine if Moss had played with Montana for 10 plus years
He only played 5 with Montana. Are you aware that Steve Young became the starter in 1991, after Montana got injured in that 1990 NFC Championship game? Montana would later go to the Chiefs in 1992.
Fuck that he should of stayed in New England longer then he would of won a ring
I been trying to tell people that....look what he did in just one year with Brady
yr speculation isn't valid simply b/c Montana didn't have a big arm, he was a precision passer who threw 4 short yardage, the West Coast Off. was a ball control Off. using passes between 5-8 yds. Everyone that watched football back then knew that the big dicks on campus as far as canon arms went, was Marino & Elway. & Moss was mostly a deep threat. So while amusing, not valid.
Jerry Rice greatest wide receiver to ever play the game period...
People acting like Rice only put up those numbers because he played 20 years. He only played 20 because of what made him great, his work ethic and attitude towards perfection. Moss may have been physically more gifted, but Rice is the GOAT.
Jerry Rice = GOAT
Jerry Rice>>>Randy Moss. Period...
Soooooooo TRUE
Nigguh your funny, get Mossed...
Rice Fitzgerald Megatron Carter Moss. Jerry was getting 1000 yards when he was 40 it ain’t close. 22 touchdowns in 12 game strike season
I repeat - 22 TDs in 12 games !!!!! ..nuff said.
I totally agree too many Madden players in the chat.
Randy only beat that record by 1 td and that was in 16 games. Hands down Jerry was the best there was and ever will be. Most likely. He was a freak of nature 40 years before his time.
Jerry Rice is the best ever!
Lol Jerry Rice low key saying "Kiss the Ring, Bitch" to Randy Moss 😆😆
As well he should. Rice has all the facts on his side. Moss has nothing but excuses.
Don't put much on the ring statement, because football is the ultimate team sport. Barry Sanders don't have a ring, why because he never had enough around him
@@byronphillips8176 Barry LEGIT never had enough around him though. Garbage defenses and garbage QB's every year. Moss on the other hand had a 15-1 Viking squad, AND an undefeated 16-0 Patriots squad with the greatest QB of all-time and couldn't get it done. Had 2 cracks at a Super Bowl ring and underperformed BOTH times. Barry would have KILLED for the opportunities Moss got.
