Na man, I make the same music, was inspired by that same sound. Look up vintage tape emulators, vintage plate reverbs and tape delays. The trick to making that sound is the processing fx you add to your melodies. Really though, just keep trying different fx until you get something that sounds right to you - if you notice, toro, blackbird, gold panda, small black, com truise, they all have that same sound but none of em sound the same.
