This song makes me imagine a person at the end of their life. And then all of their memories just keep flashing before their eyes. And then at the very end when the song all of a sudden stops and calms is when the person is at peace.
that's what actually happens scientifically. when a person is dying, he/She experiences all of his memories flashing in his/her eyes and that activity is found to be existing 7 minutes. well flume made it too quick from your perspective. 😜

ok so after listening the whole album, this track is just... outstanding. So experimental, complex, random and unbalanced yet so magical, familiar and emotional. A whole fucking journey. Thanks Flume
Everytime i listen to this song, it almost sounds like a cry for help. Like theres a constant struggle that continue to mount; an increasing challenge as the song builds. The bass drop flashing attempt after attempt and unrelenting resolve. The wail of the psynchronizer near the end being the cry of a soul that refuses to quit. You can't make it quit. As the song ends, a challenge is complete and you can see what it was all for and that it was worth it. Still a favorite. Thanks Flume.
I remember reading once that this album/song was a product of Flume suffering from a block and going to a solitary place to focus, perhaps this was the song that set him free. Edit: It’s literally a comment on this video haha a few below this one
True Vegan Nice. What was it like? decided not to go to the one near me cuz I didn't want it to be all like a rave and whatnot. I ain't bout that drug lyfe
It's not a rave really. Raves are a lot more up beat. He's a little bit more chill. Bass makes the bitches come lol. I feel ya, do what you wanna do. Just have fun. Shit was awesome. Changed my life.
Ive seen a lot of people hate on this song, but i think to really appreciate this you have to understand why Flume created it. He sad he felt for months he had the worst writers block hes ever had, it got to the point where he didnt think he would be able to write music ever again. So he booked a flight to the middle of nowhere and stayed in a log cabin in the middle of the woods in solitude until he wrote this. I think you can really hear how this was made by an artist who thought he was done and just put it all out there.
I can only semi-relate. This song became a fave after a few minutes into my first listen. Maybe 'Wall Fuck' will grow on me. There are parts of that track that I really like.
Andre Cartwright It's hard too explain. The energy of the crowd and performance during the Wall Fuck verses kinda changed the way I listened to the song. It's a little esoteric, but experiencing it live definately made me appreciate how the verses of the song complement the melodic parts more. I started appreciating the choppiness in Free for the same reason.
Those two are my favorite songs from Skin. It feels like a deeper connection, like the music is pulsing through me, which is something I don’t get with most other of flume’s songs
like ppl who saying the old stuff is better.... like u guys dont understand how much as a producer he has grown like mastering his audio the degree of syncopation like everything combined is just incredible... Like yeah i get it his old stuff was legendary but this... This shit right here is revolutionary.
I keep thinking about the comment that said that this song is making them imagine a person at the end of their life... All of these sounds is one unique memory flashing before their eyes, and at the end when the song suddenly stops the person found its peace and can live eternally in it... Thank you Flume for these emotions
une de mes préféré de l'album, magnifique elle prend au tripes et donne tellement d'émotion, je suis clairement fan ! Flume est incontestablement le meilleur.
This Whole album is like the Foxglove Plant from the Album Cover, It's Poisonous & it hurts at first, but when you keep it at home & look at it & hear it everyday, it'll literally 'grow' on you & you'll fall in love with the beauty of it.
Same here I like some of his production but when "Skin" released I was disappointed till I went to Flume's concert and I have to tell you that's one of the best concert I have ever been. All the songs are making senses. I think if you don't like it because you don't understand it YET. Give it more try in different mood.
No i completely agree with Luke. I was excited for this new album but i was disappointed with it and i dont actually like many of the songs. I also do believe that people are hyped still because of how Flume has now made a name for himself. My personal preference is his classics and nothing can beat those, but im not a fan of these new songs on his album..
he will be successful regardless i like his new songs, which in fact i do like some but the songs aren't on the same level as paper thin, warm thoughts, tropical sun to name a few. low-key "3" is my favorite track from this album and possibly of all his songs.
The melodies in this track is so emotional, was high listening to this the other day and i thought the flower was "singing" it. Wonderful music, Flume is from another world.
I listened to this song when it released and wasn't sure of it. But today I decided to hear it through my speakers (really fucking good speakers) at quite a high volume. I lay on my bed which is right next to the speakers. As it progressed through the song I started to smile, and when it dropped my whole body fluttered with goosebumps, and then it got to 1:50 and out of the blue I started to cry uncontrollably, and then the second drop had me crying and laughing all at once. I'd never been so overwhelmed with music and I literally think my body just didn't know how to react. So I thank you for this amazing experience and I'm now making this song (the song I wasn't originally sure of) one of my all time favourites. Flume, don't ever change.
Was at the San Francisco show two nights ago. He finished with Say It, then did this song and two others afterword as an encore. Crowd went absolutely crazy when Free came on. Pure magic!
2 days ago I was at his show ( Europe tour ) I did ecstasy and I was peaking when this song came on. Guys it is really unexplainable how this changed me whole fucking understanding of feeling blessed by the universe, tears pouring down my face.. WOW
This song makes me imagine a person at the end of their life. And then all of their memories just keep flashing before their eyes. And then at the very end when the song all of a sudden stops and calms is when the person is at peace.
This is *exactly* what I pictured in my mind o.O
you have a beautiful mind
Yes! omg I thought the same thing as well.
that's what actually happens scientifically. when a person is dying, he/She experiences all of his memories flashing in his/her eyes and that activity is found to be existing 7 minutes. well flume made it too quick from your perspective. 😜
I wanna see that fking animation

Tomas Ribeiro completely different music to flume. However this is very similar to Justin Vernon, worked with Kanye, and is centre piece of Bon Iver
Greg Weeks funnily enough Flume got his name from a Bon Iver song
@@aaronkhayes Seriously!??? I just listened to that song cause it says Flume in it
im going through writers block right now and im not sure what to do anymore... i havent made a decent song in a year

This is no music..... ITS AN ART!!!
Sounds like what Kanye did for MBDTF
Australia
wow
ok so after listening the whole album, this track is just... outstanding. So experimental, complex, random and unbalanced yet so magical, familiar and emotional.
A whole fucking journey. Thanks Flume
Agreed
I think this would've been more fitting as the last track on this album, if not, then "Never be like you".
You said everything I felt while listening to it.
what would you say your favorite song is in the album? Mine is probably "When everything was new".
David Betancourth wall fuck is better , in my opinion '-'
This is quite possibly Flume's best song.

Literally the first time a song made me cold
not the first time, but damn this is sick
Last night was insane. Saw him live

i swear flume doesnt need quantization on his tracks

I used to not be crazy about Free and Wall Fuck until I heard them live. Seeing Flume live was a religious experience...

This track sounds the way a painful epiphany feels. So good. So much feels.
It blows my mind!
Eric hasta acá andabas xd
@@unknownboi. 😉
Hola eric
one of the greatest songs ever made
This is the song that freed Flume from an ongoing creative block, this fact alone makes it one of the most outstanding of the album
Favorite track so far, freezing my back, moving my mind and gets my soul high
Ikr! I laid on my bed and put on my headphones, and this song came on and it took me out of this world
If It Must Be I wish I knew more people who feel that way about Flume
I think I could write a poem about those feels
Or maybe some rap lyrics
+Lhermine I totally understand. When I feel my head starting to spin, I write poetry
+If It Must Be Send me your lines then
+Lhermine Follow me on Google plus and I'll send you some as soon as I can. I followed you to take it easier
It sound so random and strange but beautiful at the same time. That's why he's famous, so original.
It’s crazy how flume got me into this shit then years later one of my favorite mixes still comes from him
This was the final song of his concert... that beautiful man smashing that drum pad in front of his crowd was the definition of art.
There's something about this song that just feels so powerful so much passion. I feel like this songs a personal message from Flume.
Honestly, this song is life. Pure life and it is so fucking beautiful.
like ppl who saying the old stuff is better.... like u guys dont understand how much as a producer he has grown like mastering his audio the degree of syncopation like everything combined is just incredible... Preach
When people say it sounds so random... I can “hear” the song. It does sound good. Pretty emotional I guess
that's why the people say this song is random
ALL THISSSSS IN LIKE 2 MINUTES.. HITS ME OMG!!
I needed a minute to know what was going on lol
+Metal Gear Fiddle lol.🔥
uggghh,I'm late..today is a holiday
Best song off whole album, just takes to a different planet
i don't understand why is this so underrated....long live Flume!!!
Fav song from the album, simple yet it totally slays.
such a unique song
I get goose bump while listening.
It happens so rarely.
I keep thinking about the comment that said that this song is making them imagine a person at the end of their life... John Tremendol it was love at first hear nothing but euphoria
Well damn. So creative!
Thank you flume, you break me and put me back together everytime.
crazy how this song, no words or lyrics. just synths and kicks speaks louder to me than a lot of music ever will.
Wow, flume is just out of this world. Almost every track he produces leaves me in awe.
unreal
what's goes through Flume's mind when he creates these pieces of amazing sound? I love Flume and he is my favorite.
i feel like there is so much to love about this track the progression and the "everywhere all at once" work so well for this song
This piece of art evokes powerful emotions. It makes me want to cry.
Going through each song and seeing the same consistent commenters fangirling over the sick beats
Exactly. Majority of the songs are not that good. people are just rimming him for the label of 'FLUME'
+Luke mate Most of the tracks are that GOOD. It's people expressing their honest opinion. And you expressing your minority opinion.
No i completely agree with Luke. I was excited for this new album but i was disappointed with it and i dont actually like many of the songs. Best track of the album
Heard this live, fucking ripped me apart man.
flume's best song by far, he has amazing stuff but nothing compares to this
The amount of goosebumps when i hear this... What a masterpiece.
Just a heads-up: This was bangin' live (crazy visuals and bass)!!!!!!
You can't even dance on it, just stand (or sit, or whatever) and listen that such a beautiful combination of sound, like frozen statue. MASTERPIECE!
This song set my mind "free"
I like the instrumental tracks better than all the collabs tbh. Great stuff
Same. You get to really tune in to his production level. No vocals over the top taking all the attention :)
The melodies in this track is so emotional, was high listening to this the other day and i thought the flower was "singing" it. Wonderful music, Flume is from another world.
who else can't wait to blast this in the car
Not my subwoofer. R.I.P.
first this. then heavy bass from smoke and retribution

He went wild with this song ... but somehow it still makes sense ...
COULD FLUME BE ANY BETTER :0
yes
His old stuff will always be his best. To Me=
+Message Back i agree, i like this album, but his older stuff is just amazing
His first flume Ep is perfect. Ezra, Holdin on, on top, his songs with chet faker. Pinnacle of flume.
I loved sleepless *:)*
Favourite track on the album; this should not work, but it does.
hearing this live changed my life
this is the most cleverest song i have heard with synths ever
He flew to Tasmania and lived in a log wood cabin, whilst isolated himself from the world for 10 days to make this track.
so simple yet so amazing
2:17 Gave me me the chills in my head and i mean LITERALLY in my head skin. Flume, what are u doing to me??
So good memories with this sound! Just want to drive somewhere in north Queensland with a joint, listening this music
Fav track so far. The rise and drop is completely out of this world. Glitchy, do whatever the fuck i want Flume is great.

What an emotional track, I remember when it came out, times were simpler ✨ FLUME remains at the top 🚀
EVERY TRACK HAS A NEW SOUND. He's a mad scientist and it's amazing
I can't even describe how much I love this album
Honestly I hate most music like this and prefer punk rock and metal, but flume you are insanely talented. Kudos to you.
one word out of this world chills and all took him 4 years to make can hear it in every song amazing!!
I love Flume's story of how he created this song
OUT OF THIS WORLD, THANKS FLUME
I don't know how Flume can get any better on this one
I was here while it only had 1,000 views, look at it growing :')
Harley's unique production is so fresh and interesting compared to the other artists out there.
The title perfectly describes the song :D
This is a master piece. Everyone needs to hear this.
flume's set fucked me up emotionally and spiritually at okeechobee, this guy is insane
I remember back in May when he played this for the first time me and the crowd nearly died.
Skin's on spotify for 16 hours now, I have listened to the entire album 10 times
What's this genre again.... Oh right, it's Flume. We love you buddy. You got some unique game xx
He took future bass and speedcore and combined them
Now thats creative
that drop was so insane!!!
This song is the BOMB! it's that good flume shit! yeh!!!
This the kind of music you listen to staring through the window of public transportation that makes you contemplate LIFE...
Listening to flume indeed makes me feel free
nothing can beat his classics
Somehow, watching this weirdass plant rotate around and around is so calming and fits so well with the song
If this album is beyond outstanding imagine his next album 😍
The same beats in my heart when I heard this song
Flume ..... Controls chaos.
wow simply incredible...such a talented genius
