I'm kinda disappointed I'm Jays performance. He really didn't look strong at all. Jonno has fought better and more aggressively, too. I was expecting a full on war for this fight.
I would love to see some unbiased commentators Jesus, but in the end, walking yourself back into the ropes/corner putting yourself in a less than 50/50 position will not win you fights, no matter how much S&C you have. IMHO.
Evan Jays was very slick first two rounds. Not an expert but he could have done better using the jab and taking the centre. He was lettin Chipchase walk hin down too much. I think Jays won it though by small margin, more kicks landed. One dump. Chipchase was missing aa lot of his shots
I think the thing with a lot of them kicks were they had little to no effect they were just flicked in lightly usually if someone eats a lot of kicks there would be some marks on Chipchase so I would question who’s shots had the most effect ? And then the decision speaks for itself clearly.
@@artmcgreevy3110 good point and you are right. Prob need another rewatch but it seemed like Evans was more active and elusive. (especially in earlier rounds) But yes those kicks had no effect it seemed. Chipchase was a great opponant
@@marlonthemarvellous hey chaps. Really enjoyed your discussion. I think it really depends on who is scoring the fight and how. If it is a traditionalist/ thai, just landing the body kick is highly scored as well as elusiveness and poise. If it is western muay thai style judge, damaged and aggression is rewarded and punches and kicks are scored equally. In this case i imagine the judges were the latter
Sorry but Evan jays win this fight Jonno walked 2 round forward but ineffectively, the last round was the only one he really won, the first two were an Evans class!! (JUST MY OPINON AND VISION OF THIS FIGHT)
Jonno lost imo, forward pressure was ineffective for those 2 rounds, but if it was 5 rounds jonno would edge it coz he got used to his timing. God damnit jonno why don't u play the body kicking game a bit to score and then go with hands?
did me dirty with that entrance song 😂 tf

Do you not get to choose your own?

A split decision loss is better than a overall getting fucked up decision
what was the entrance music

Evan won this. Didn’t have the power but scored way more.
How old is Evan jays now
If Jays was half as good as the commentators always seem to think he'd still be fighting. He was running away in the last round for sure.
He doesn’t fight anymore?
He's by far one of the best instructors I've ever come across
I was aspecting Jay to win this, but Jonno was better, i miss the little Jay kid.. now he became lazy , at only 22.. :|
would he have earned so much money to not worry?

Cultural Appropriation Mr. Jays.
What the fuck does that means
@@jinsakai2493 The appropriated hair style.
how are u saying my man isnt allowed long hair
@@memethememestar6934 Not length; the particular style.
Fighters with long hair have this style for a reason…
