Chopper’s monster point transformation was an incredible and scary moment in One Piece. He went from being a adorable mascot of the Straw Hats to a giant, fear-inducing deer-like monster.
Ahh, the good old days. When Chopper was an actual character and not just a cute mascot. When he creatively used his forms in fights and didn’t just use kung-fu point.
Pre Timeskip Monster Point was really something else. Just by the roar alone you can hear the fear,rage and confusion in his voice. A Human, A Deer, and Chopper himself. All screaming at once.
For those that weren't around for this when it was first revealed, Oda did a masterful job of hyping up Monster Point. All we knew was Chopper could only safely use one rumble ball every 6 hours. The second one seemed to work against Kumadori, but when he got back up and nearly killed Chopper.... it was epic. And absolutely horrifying.
I know this is more than likely Chopper's awakening but if Chopper ever manages to awaken on his own, he needs to take a Rumble Ball while awakened and go berzerk again. Monster-Monster Point is truly a level of its own. Especially hearing Chopper's scream mixed with a beastly roar and elk cry. It just hits different.
@Wolfencreek That's not true like we saw with the Demon Guards in Impel Down. We don't have it confirmed if they were awakened but it is heavily pressumed they were awakened as well. But it seems more like mastered awakened Zoans get the clouds while unmastered ones don't seeing as Luffy, Lucci, and Kaku have it mastered while the Demon Guards are clearly not in full-full control while awakened and Chopper's is an artifical awakening with the Rumble Balls.
@codebracker - i've always been confused by this form but chopper has the Human-Human Fruit. Giants are humans as well. Maybe this is a Suedo Awakening allowing him to turn into the strongest humans: the Giants. Being A giant, plus having Deer characteristics would look like this

If his fruit was awakened it should amplify all his human attributes but it doesn’t. His horns, his fur, and his snout get more pronounced. They’re all his reindeer attributes. The only fruit related one is his finger growth. It just doesn’t make sense visually if this is a fruit awakening.
This form is genuinely terrifying. A long time ago I had played One Piece Unlimited Adventure before having gotten to Enies Lobby in the show and the secret Monster Point boss gave me chills when I encountered it.

Back when chopper was not just a mascot and merch article but actually had a backstory and interesting fights. And now he's just a stereotypical gag relief ... man I wish this chopper was back ... great scene.

Enies Lobby the best show of monster point and my favorite scene in the series so far that makes me cry even as I type this "I want to live!" I love this Arc!
It will be dope for the next power up for chopper would be a true Awakening, because I don't feel like chopper is truly awaken, I feel like he's a tier beneath his true Awakening of his devil fruit, like the Jailer beasts , artificial awakenings, which are strong, but not as strong as. But what would be Dope for his next upgrade would be for him to be able to use his multiple pre timeskip forms in his monster point form when he reaches his true Awakening.
The most amazing thing about this scene is that Oda makes it look like Chopper is an actual monster and really fleshes the personality of it out. This scene makes most people feel bad for Kumadori just by the way Monster Point Chopper beats him up. This is truly the most well-made scenes which are very hard to come by in most anime.
I believe this was the true foreshadowing of a zoan devil fruits awakening, I know it hasn't been confirmed yet, but it's very likely monster point is the potential awakening of chopper
I do love this trasnformation and I get why him gaining control over it was important...but I miss how terrifying the potential of this could have been. X3

I love Post time skip one piece, Wano is my favourite arc in the series… but no one can deny they ruined monster point. Mean I suppose can’t really keep having Chopper not be able to use it, but such a cool transformation just became so normal and they made it so cutesy. They tried to add in some drawbacks to it but just never recaptured what was so cool about the transformation here.
What has become of Choppers character post time skip has been a crime… I miss him growing with the crew to constantly be better! (He doesn’t always need a physical buff but even his art direction has let me down)
Man what an amazing scene showing how much they're willing to sacrifice for Robin's sake, I sure hope the immediate next episode isn't a random filler arc that ruins the pacing.

Kaido is the bigger monster compared to Chopper’s point transformation. Unless, it is the lack of composure that makes you a monster (or beast) fighting with animal instincts.
I feel like monster point is the essence of human and animal instincts clashing with one another inside his body creating a destructive force that has no sense of self but is also tearing himself apart.
oda. make chopper a character like this again. remind us why he is the key to all this. the reminder of what it means to be a “somewhat” awakened zoan. the entire one piece CONCEPT to be human beyond human with the help of drugs. the whole reason his fruit is the form of Mushroom. to be the beast in man twice over and the god in man twice over to be double human… or… human human truly is to be a monster

majority of the 2 year time skip training was off screen. Kind of showing how much you aren't a fan.
