29 years in the window cleaning business. Only a few years with the water fed. Very informative. Good job on the video. It's the tiny and little parts, and the all the finer details that can make or break you. People underestimate the time a business puts in just preparing for work. Being organized and prepared makes life much easier. Save yourself a ton of grief. Know your system. Many lessons learned. Still learning new tricks. Thanks Stevo.
Hi SteveO , as a former professional window cleaner myself, I really enjoy watching your work and videos, you work with such skill , professionalism, and most importantly, a lot of integrity, Great work. 👍🏻
I'm legit upset I never thought to spin the hose while it's in the tip to get it to pop out. I always used a flathead to pry it out and it drove me crazy. Good shit brotha.
I have a 42ft hi mod pole for 5 years now and needed a longer pole for taller jobs, so instead of buying a 60+ foot pole which will cost thousands I went to a carbon fibre specialist who made a 4 sleeve section add on, now its 62 foot pole and it only cost me a few hundred. Oh and try putting rubber rings around each clamp base so when closing the pole down, it doesn't damage the clamps when closing and it also saves your fingers getting pinched.
Have you ever thought about getting an mounted tank fitted into the van. We use ionic systems it would be much easier than the x2. You are set up in seconds all you need to do is turn the pump on and drag hose out. Over in the UK most window cleaners are working that way
That is a great question. I am contemplating retiring my van and getting a truck and trailer for more versatility for camping or other recreational activities with the truck. . The next logical step is on-board water in the trailer. No one in NH USA has one that I know of to look at. What would start up cost be?
@@jaythibodeau6961 i am based in the UK so i have very limited knowledge of what suppliers there is in the US. I do know ionic systems are thats the supplier we use but it is not the cheapest but it is the best quality and safest. They know what they are doing when they are installing it. Depending on your needs the price ranges. Size tanks range from 150l - 1000 litres. You will have to check your vehicles payload with the other weight in the vehicle accounted as well so its not overweight. We also only need delivery units as we have a static system in our unit that makes our pure water. So if you need filters that be additional. I would suggest giving them a ring and see what they can offer
A couple questions. I use the Tucker Boars brush. I have problems with the jets getting loose and pulling out. Any tips? I’m thinking Ill epoxy them in. Also what’s happening to bronze wool pads? And are walnut pads a good replacement?
The life of those poles depends on you how you take care of it in my case if I not that busy always clean up IN-OUT otherwise the smells and all particles from water damage any pole and you to expend more money on poles and tools also depending the discipline that you have with the maintenance on your tools is the life you done OUT have you check IN you will surprises when you see it how much dirt .

What does the univalve do ? I’m a newbie
Turns the water on/off to the brush by tugging on the hose at the base of the pole
Could you do a. Vid on turning that pole into a pressure washing / surface cleaning attachment for cleaning tile roofs. 👀🤔
I've seen those in the UK but not here in US, do you know if they are sold anywhere?
These are glasfiber poles? They look like it and they sound like it when u slide them. Expensive pole for a glasfiber one.
These are 100% carbon fiber, this one is high mod CF, the sounds you here when its closing or extending is the noise of the UD wrap.
The Xero hose is top quality stuff! But, that shit will get hung up on a gnat's ass, in .02 seconds.
Steveooooooo!!!!💯🤙🏻
