Hey fellow Gothcore lovers! With a new year comes a new Gothcore mix, I hope you enjoy!
... Similar to my first mix, this one will feature a blend of both, established artists and smaller, underrated newcomers to the scene. Furthermore, this mix will probably feel a bit different from the previous iterations as I went for more aggressive cuts that often lead straight into the drop so expect less of a roller coaster with peaks and lows but more of a consistent blend of high octane kicks. As usual, there will be some slight genre switches here and there as there are certainly traces of Gabber, Crossbreed and even some Japanese-styled-piece.
I had a great deal of fun scouting out these picks as there is nothing quite as rewarding as finding a hidden gem of Gothic Hardcore right?;)

After listening the full mix and re-listened to it, I felt in love with Shattering Justice and The Blood Moon Strikes Again. From the ones I knew, Necromancer, Heimdall and Raise the Flames of Rebellion, are pretty good ones too. 妖異幻怪 is also a good surprise.
Oh I can definitely relate to those picks! Blood moon i had a phase where i listenend to it for hours on end a couple months ago. I recomment checking out the full song because it transitions into some very unique "doomcore" after the first half that's gothcore. And for shattering justice you might also wanna check out the full album on Spotify. There is several songs with a similar pace/kicks in there that I all fell in love with:)

Very likely, still scouting out songs as I only put my true favs in these and have pretty much exhausted the entire repertoire of the genre by now… So it’s either super hidden gems that I’m still in search for or new releases.

im curious; howd you find these songs? do you spend your time going through soundcloud, or what? cuz i genuinely am really curious, kinda wanna find a few gems on my own
Haha exactly, SoundCloud, UA-cam and Spotify mainly. whenever something sounds truly catchy, I’d add that to a playlist and listen to it on repeat to really see if it clicks and then in case I fall in love with it, it’d go into the mix-ready list😅😂… Which is why I don’t see another mix coming for a while as I’ve genuinely grabbed all my absolute favorites now. Anything else would just be second choices^^
But SoundCloud has a nice feature with their hashtags, can search for gothic hardcore and discover artists that way
@@mimixis thanks for the reply! yeah I've heard that the hashtag soundcloud feature is really useful. but apart from that, I can imagine it'd take hours and hours on end just to find more artists you haven't discovered and tracks you haven't uncovered yet
