Young man you have inspired my wife and I to do the hike. We live about an hour and a half from the Buffalo river. We are 57 and 60 years of age. Ain’t no hill for a mountain climber!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, Buffalo River is an amazing area, it'd definitely be worth the drive. First time I hiked this trail with my brother back in 2016 we met a group all the way from Pennsylvania!
Awesome seeing that trail again which i have been on in dry fall conditions.. Cool seeing various aspects of the park throughout the seasons on your episodes so much non stop beauty!!!
Nice, it was my favorite book when we lived in the Ozarks. Hope you get a lot of great experiences out of it! Also thanks for the compliment on music choices, I can be picky and sometimes it's the most tedious part of editing 😅
I have an Alltrails subscription so I can download maps onto my phone but I don't do any recordings or anything. Thanks for watching the videos, glad you enjoyed them!
One freeze dry meal per day for dinner, tuna pouch and tortillas/bread for lunch; and beef jerky, trail mix, peanut crackers, sugary snacks with my meals and in between. I usually bring enough food for an extra night just in case the hike takes longer than expected.

That's fantastic! I hope you enjoy the trail!
Thank you for picking up the trash.
No problem. For I'm thankful that's one of the only places I noticed litter on trail (other than Busch Light cans along the gravel road 😒)
This is awesome. My summer goal is to hike the entire trail. I'm glad I'll have this video for reference.
Awesome! I hope you'll enjoy the trail!
Another nice one. Thanks.
Beautiful place! Thank you for making these videos! It's nearly as good as being there!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the kind words.
Great scenery, you kept it interesting and you have a great attitude! Thank you for taking the time and effort to share with us. Happy trails!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😁
Great video
Really enjoyed the video! I’m in north Texas and hope to get over to hike it myself one day soon! Nice work.

I loved all the waterfalls. The BRT is so beautiful. Good job.
The waterfalls definitely made the rain at camp worth it. Thanks!
Congratulations on finishing BRT! So proud of you. 😊
Really digging your music choices! BTW, I took your advice in a previous video on the waterfall book by Tim Ernst. Great tip, thanks!

Nice video - what are the water containers you are using and how are you filtering water ?
Some people think that aluminum will burn. Funny, I still have my 43 y.o. aluminum cookpot, it hasn't burned yet!
How much food, and what kind, did you pack?
