It's such a shame that this is all there ever was, and all there ever will be, of this theme. Back in the 90s, I hoped it was maybe library music, cut out of a much longer piece, and that I'd be able to hear it in its entirety. Sadly, it seems like 59 seconds is all we're ever going to get, and that's a tragedy.
Well there was an extended cue that used to play during the show that could be edited into this to make a longer piece... do we have that? It was a riff on this theme but not the same arrangement Edit - we do, and it's this ua-cam.com/video/-TqTysPCw-4/v-deo.html but it wouldn't slot into this tune the way I thought after all
I watched the new series last night and the closing credits sound like they are from an ominous ITV drama!!! Had to come here to remember that cooking is supposed to be bright and happy!!!!
Hi, it was the final mixed stereo master. And yes, the pre titles bit was played a lot quieter over Loyd doing his final lines before the title bit - thats why this bit hasn't really been heard unless you've ever paid really close attention to the show. There are a lot of various mixes of the incidental music tracks (the main one being 'Lets Cook!, available on the channel) but no real varied mixes of the main theme.
Hearing this means it's Sunday evening and I still haven't done Monday's homework!
@PixieDust8399 i always had mine done on the Friday night so i wouldn't worry about it on the Sunday night
