It was such a compliment that the mama told the babies to get to safety & stay with Uncle Jim & Auntie Angie. I expect the bear is hungry and testing the buffet as well. Because of my own curiosity I looked it up. Google says Bears don't eat Raccoons but maybe the Raccoons don't know that and avoid them because they are so much bigger than they are.
