  • The Bar Book by Jeffrey Morgenthaler came out a while ago, but we're just posting out review now. In short awesome book. In keeping with Jeffrey's straight shooter attitude, the book is full of practical advice that home bartenders need. He breaks it down to three important points: recipe, technique, and ingredients.
    Highly recommended for home bartenders.

Just got this to keep me motivated during the lockdown in my country and I'm really enjoying It! What book do you recommend to learn pretty much all the classics and the contemporary classics? Thanks! Keep up the great content!

You picked a great book Andre. I usually suggest that one and The Essential Bartenders Guide by Robert Hess. Thanks for watching our show.

One of the best Bartending Books I have,
the only problem is, that he sometimes just says stuff, without explaining it

+eberbacher007 yeah. That's kind of his style. "Just do it this way."

I only noticed it when I read david arnolds "liquid intelligence" who just explained the stuff.
Plus Arnold said stuff that contradicted Morgenthaler, but in contrast to morgenthaler he did back it up with pages of statistics, explanations and so on.
Since then I am a bit mor careful about Morgenthaler
