It's funny because they sound so much alike it's basically seamless hosting 🤣. But yeah no matter who's on the panel, this show is consistently engaging and varied.
Really hope we see Jenna and Bosman back as occasional guests. I'm so very excited to see Hanson return but they are both very incredible and insightful. The entire MinnMax crew never misses.
What I like the most about Baldurs Gate 3 is that you can't choose all the dialogue options. In most games, you pick all of the dialogue options that are optional, then you pick the required dialogue option. That's not really how conversations in the real world work. In BG3 you have to decide what to ask first and what is most important to you, since the other options may disappear and the conversation may go in a different direction. This makes the dialogue feel more impactful when I know I can't ask everything.
The store from a game I want to see in real life is that one in Street Fighter 6 World Tour where you go in, give them $1000, and can walk out looking any which way you want. Much cheaper than a gym membership.
@8:11 Message board roleplaying was the bomb! And also the most torturous thing for me, as I was-like-all about going through every single post and creating in-depth recaps… and a surprisingly amount of board users were into writing about gruesome death, doom and gloom, etc.
Has Kelsey tried using the "Top Down" Camera Angle for Combat? It may not be a grid but being able to zoom out even more & view encounters from above can make keeping track of everyone a bit easier.
Correction on Jenna's BG3 pain priestess thing. I acted like a tough guy the entire time and I still got the buff, so it's still possible even if you don't scream in pain.
I made the mistake of doing a lot of side stuff in AC Valhalla before engaging with the story. As a result I ended up going to places twice and it took me 300 hours to get the platinum.
I've been playing Crimson Shroud on the 3DS and rolling the dice with the stylus is such a nice touch (no pun intended). I'm not sure if there is a karmic element to the game design though.
Scarlet Nexus is legitimately brilliant. A little overwritten but has an awesome combat system where you borrow elements of other characters and can eventually stack them up
I think there is an audio sync issue, but I mostly like approaching this podcast as audio only. Of course that means it didn't detract anything from my viewing lol great episode.
Between Minnmax, Durry and Fargo my entire entertainment suite(pod/music/tv) while playing Baldurs Gate this week is so heavily Minnesota focused. Love the continued BG3 discussions! Leo and Kyle is a great combo. "He believes he can talk to animals, I don't believe him" is a great RP
Believe it when I see it about Ubisoft games not being bloated, specifically Assassins Creed, Farcry feels like a nice weekend game, finish it by sunday and you're done AC's are massive with nothing to say or do "Assassin's Creed Valhalla Will Be Shorter & Smaller To Address Odyssey Complaints Due to complaints about Odyssey being overstuffed, Ubisoft promises that the upcoming Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be smaller and shorter. -2020" It ended up being 20h longer by every metric on 'how long to beat'
Librarians lending M rated games to children is a very bad idea. They have enough pressure on them as it is, without five year olds getting hold of GTA V from their local library.
14 days baby!!!! Starfield AND Diablo 4 in the same 3 months!?!? I'm in RPG heaven, and I haven't even touched that creepy, pervy, fake nerdom DnD game lol. I've rewatched the amazing Starfield direct over and over and it's so close I can almost taste it!!! I hope all the entitled man children who bad mouth devs on a regular basis don't play this masterpiece because they honestly don't deserve to, or even look at it tbh. It will take over my life just like the amazing D4, which I still play and enjoy, despite all the sheeple being told to hate on it lol. Again, 14 days babyyyyy!!!!!!
Is HumanMax a thing? Please be a joke.. As a graphic designer that specializes in branding.. That’s a God awful name. MinnMax is short and sweet.. has a ring to it, rolls off the tongue. Please don’t change it..
These last few weeks have only made me miss Bosman as a podcast host. It has been such a treat to have him back in the host seat.
The perfect thing would be to have one more week with Bosman, only next week Ben is hosting and Kyle is a panelist
I was hoping they would do this too!
Having Bosman host the show was a real treat. He’s an absolute natural at hosting, always was. Hope he’ll drop back in!
It's funny because they sound so much alike it's basically seamless hosting 🤣. But yeah no matter who's on the panel, this show is consistently engaging and varied.
Kyle H: Do any of you guys know anyone that beat Valhalla?
Kyle B: *insane Michael Huber flashbacks*
Really hope we see Jenna and Bosman back as occasional guests. I'm so very excited to see Hanson return but they are both very incredible and insightful. The entire MinnMax crew never misses.
Legit sad that their time is up. I would love to see them both become cohorts
This was such a fantastic episode with a lovely crew. Going to miss Kyle Bosman and Jenna, and happy they have their own channels to tune in to.
I love that Bosman energy. Sad to see our substitute teacher go!
Bosman and Jenna have been amazing all this time, and I would also like to acknowledge Kyle Hilliard for the time he was host!
going to miss kyle bosman and jenna stoeber. great show, people

it's like having a real conversation
Kyle Bosman messing up the ads is why I'm here 😂
16:00 Never took Leo's cat for a save-scummer, but here we are

RIP Hunt Showdown now that Leo got into it
Until Leo mentioned it I had not clocked the Minnesota connection in the Minn! Doh!
Bosman has been a joy to have on this podcast! Would love to see him be a routine addition.
Great work from Jenna and Kyle.
Hopefully when Hanson gets back he can clear up all the mummy/skeleton confusion.
Hopefully we'll see Bosman back in the show, he is amazing and Jenna was great too.
I’m happy to see Leo getting into Hunt:Showdown. I’ve been playing it on xbox for quite a few years now. Fantastic game.
Kyle Hillyard: "I wish they would just make it an action game!"
Dragon Age fans: "and I took that personally. . ."
@8:11

I also always call it Hunt: "THE" Showdown even though it is absolutely incorrect. It just feels right?
Kyle ignoring the highest-rated game of the year in favour of an old Zelda title.
The Two Tens are gonna be fun this year! #TeamSarah
Correction on Jenna's BG3 pain priestess thing. I acted like a tough guy the entire time and I still got the buff, so it's still possible even if you don't scream in pain.
that's interesting, was there a die roll prior to getting it?
@@NickHunter Yeah I think you have to pass like 3 or 4 checks
is this HUMANMAX show?? Let's go!
We need more Hunt Showdown talk, amazing stealth and action game. I wish Crytek would do more with this game.
Don’t sleep on the ad read. Kyle B makes it fun!
I made the mistake of doing a lot of side stuff in AC Valhalla before engaging with the story. As a result I ended up going to places twice and it took me 300 hours to get the platinum.
Jenna appears to be looking at the answers during the game.
The whole point of mummifying someone is so they don't end up becoming some broke ass skeleton
Morrigan was my first huge video game romance, and then later on Liara the Asari when I finally played Mass Effect. Games are the best ❤️
Hello Fresh, hire this man!
AC6 deepest dive AND Daddy B is coming back? We’re eating good, gamers!
I've been playing Crimson Shroud on the 3DS and rolling the dice with the stylus is such a nice touch (no pun intended). I'm not sure if there is a karmic element to the game design though.
Definitely loving the Baldurs gate coverage
Scarlet Nexus is legitimately brilliant. A little overwritten but has an awesome combat system where you borrow elements of other characters and can eventually stack them up
I’m with Kyle on the name change. Human max sounds like the mascot human being on community.
I think there is an audio sync issue, but I mostly like approaching this podcast as audio only. Of course that means it didn't detract anything from my viewing lol great episode.
I'm glad my question didn't win because I don't have a vinyl player.
I had my character act tough when they got whipped and got a permanent buff too. So you don't have to pretend it hurts
I'm sure this has been covered before but, any idea where Ben Hanson has been the last few montjs?
Larian's greatest video game achievement is making the internet's new best girl, Karlach
Jenna and Kyle are cool additions to the team. Great episode! :)
I know what Kyle Bosman means
Best in the biz.
Thank you Jenna and Kyle, you've done a great job!

Good podcast. I enjoyed it.
Minnmax 50!! 😂😂

Accept no substitute 😂
My favorite part of Ben's leave was getting introduced to Jenna. They're awesome, added so much to the content, and are all around lovely.
She was my favourite one at Polygon and I can't believe they got rid of her, but I think the stuff she's done since has been even better
loved her on polygon! so glad to see her on the podcast
thx to bosman for not needing to display his Twitter, would love for all of minnmax to adopt that. it's a hate platform
Can we please hire Jenna!!!!! Amazing work and a wonderful laugh, I’m going to miss Jenna!!
Thank goodness Ben is returning. 🙏🏻
Librarians lending M rated games to children is a very bad idea. They have enough pressure on them as it is, without five year olds getting hold of GTA V from their local library.
Bye Jenna, gonna miss you!
I beat all the newer AC games and I have the platinum trophies

It is a bit
HuminnMax. With two Ns.
is this a bit about a bit
is this humanmax thing a bit or..? terrible name if its real
It was a joke about their last new show plus episode
@@notweirder oh ok, good cause they weren’t really acting like it was a joke at all. I was like please don’t change the name to that 😂
It's a bit, and Kyle taking it seriously was also a bit. Two layers of bits.
@@DFTNSHEXGRMKyle was just furthering the bit by taking it seriously 😅
