- Thank you Warren Haynes for River's Gonna Rise and all your great Christmas Jam music. There is no performance better I can find online of Avett Brothers than at Warren's 2012 Christmas Jam and I HAD to have THIS performance because once you see this nothing else on youtube will do... so hoping it can stay online for joy of us all. This is when Laundry Room was still sung by Scott and not the audience so it's kind of priceless.
Man, that is true talent, not a bunch of overdubbing, 3 guys bringing major energy to the room. In world where everything is so overproduced and multi tracked to death.....this is air I can breathe.....thank God for these guys.
I've gone to turning the TV off, and listening to your guys. It makes me happy!
I love the full band, don't get me wrong, but this is how I saw them the first time, simple, literal kick drum, barely any stage equipment and it was incredible. but like everyone said, it's impossible to get a less than amazing Avett show

Thanks for this. I just got home from seeing them in Virginia. To see them live was thrilling. Their matchless vocals and genuine, warm personalities are something everyone should experience.
Watch their latest video "ain't no man", but be prepared for dramatically short haircuts!

If you can find a video of The Avett Brothers at Berkeley, The Greek Theater from April 2016. I've seen the Avett Brothers live about 7 or 8 times and that is by far the best show I've seen them play. But its also hard to find a "bad" show from them.
Laundry Room is uploaded like a dozen different ways even on UA-cam, I have like 4 version's of them doing this song, and I bet their is probably two or three more ways they've performed it over the years that is worth downloading, see Cardinal Sessions and NPR Tiny Desk concert with the words laundry room and you'll find them right here on UA-cam.

I think the audience isn't singing with because they probably don't know the words as it's not their show and they are surprise guests. Also if they take it down, you can put it on vimeo. Nothing gets taken down on vimeo. :)

These guys are awesome but I wish they'd pick a look and go with it. One show they look like Dr. Hook then the next show they look like The Partridge Family.
