I want to do this bit I don't know how u would clean it
There are no down sides to doing this??? I am making my first foam background soon!
Would one 12 oz can of the pond & stone foam be enough to do what you did in this video?
How long does it take to dry?
What is that Grey stuff and where can I get it from
can i use PU
I accidentally got the pest block foam.. does it matter even if I'm making a whole bioactive ecosystem with Isopods and springtails? It's housing 1 of my beardies
Where can I find this
Will the substrate ever come loose from the foam? All other videos carve and use tons of silicone…
That's exactly what's going to happen
It will come loose from the silicone. I don't think it could ever come loose from the foam. That stuff is just about the stickies substance known to man, and once it dries it's tough as nails.
Without silicone, the foam can eventually detach from the glass. Best to use silicone, it’s not that expensive and will save u some potential trouble down the road. If you foam all the way down and around the corners a bit, you might be able to get away with not using silicone.
Do you wait for the silicone to dry before adding the foam?
@@ladycathou Yes, it's only there to help the foam adhere to the glass.
Last time I tried this I had a tough time getting the coir to stick. The foam cured way too fast. Next time I’ll do it in sections. Although I wonder if it’s because the substrate was too damp.
any moisture in the substrate will make it not stick
How would you go about drying the material out? More curious about the timeline of it and the materials used
How long should it sit before housing tarantula
I like to let my enclosures grow out for a month before adding an animal.

You’re the best!
All fun and games until a rock just falls and cracks the tank during the "gently tap part" Im afraid. Still your video is inspiring for sure! Thank you for sharing
The rocks are actually fake they are made out of foam/plastic. The spray foam dries very hard and sturdy so it is completely safe.
oh so basically everything is fake. lol. i was wondering about the rocks falling to.@@IansExotics26
I mean he even has it on screen called "feather rocks." You'd think it would be common sense but.....
