Love this top. One little hint, I usually do two lines of gathering which gives a more even gather, and then I stitch between the rows to attach the piece. Then I pull out the visible row of gathering. Doesn’t take a lot of time but always gives a nice result.

Thank you. Love the top. I'm curious, could you also attach the bottom ruffle part of the sleeve flat, and then sew the seams for both at the same time? Was that clear?
@@tlt43 yes, you can do it that way! 🎉 I know it is often easier to sew the sleeves before sewing the bodice side seams.
@@Sew-Happy Actually, what I meant was to just sew the top sleeve and bottom sleeve together before sewing the sleeve inner seams together. Then sew in the sleeve to the armhole. Do you know what I mean? That way when sewing the bottom sleeve to the top sleeve, it's in a straight line before making it a circle. Just a thought as to if there's a reason not to do that.
@tlt43 no reason not to do that! 💞 Just pre-press those hem creases, so you don’t have to do it in a circle 🤕
