Damn Snakebird was a great game - thanks for watching this short series! If you're new and enjoy watching challenging puzzle games like this, I would HIGHLY recommend my Baba Is You series. Baba is where I gained the brainpower necessary to beat Snakebird: ua-cam.com/video/bsWPZJ1q27g/v-deo.html
To be honest, on Bonus 6, I thought you'd have to fit a bird between that moving block and have another push it up, like an elevator. It even has the perfect shape and length
I almost feel like this game wasn’t originally meant to be so hard, and it almost feels like early prototype levels were accidentally harder than intended, but then the team decided that making it super hard was good. The art style is incredible though, that I absolutely love. I know nothing of this game beyond what of this series I’ve watched, and I haven’t watched it all.
I've streamed it a good amount, but people are progressively losing interest. Might try a couple episodes on UA-cam, but I think it's going to be a stream-only game.
Honestly if there was a 2nd channel with unedited vods of stream-only games, I'd watch quite a few of the videos. It could be a place for games like Talos Principle
It was a treat for me to watch how you solved these puzzles after I had solved them myself. Often you realized what needed to happen for you to win a lot quicker than I did! I definitely learned a lot from how you solved the earlier puzzles and applied that thought process to make the later puzzles much easier. I agree that this was a fantastically designed game, one of the best puzzlers I've ever played and it doesn't really get the recognition it deserves. It had the perfect combo of fair challenge, adorable visuals, non-linearity, and a very unique mechanic, and at $7 it's a great price. Also Aliensrock if by some miracle you're reading this please play more of Stephen's Sausage Roll, it's an amazing game.
I know Tyler was joking around during this calling everything an apple, but apple used to be a catch-all term for fruits, and still is in a few languages.
also: "ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.............shit!" "it's *all* hard part" "that was nutty" "A one-length snakebird? I'd feel bad for it..... Its existence would be *pain*" -tyler
Man bonus 6 took me way longer than it should have, because I instinctively brought the 2-length blocks up and then... brought the middle one down by dropping them on the right? what? which was really complicated
Hey aliensrock, if you liked snakebird, why not try "Stephen's Sausage Roll" ? It's a great game ("despite" the name?) that has the same kind of feel than snakebird with movement constrains, progression, and a lot of skill differential as you progress.
If you want another difficult puzzle game that makes you wish you had a time machine, you could try the 'Fish fillets 2'. And no I don't know if Fish fillets 1 was ever a thing.
I'd love to see you do a playthrough of Outer Wilds. It's a space exploration game with heavy puzzle elements, and does an excellent job of making Lore the main tool for progression.
The SM7B is a great ass mic but you'll still have to make sure to adjust the levels right so it doesn't peak when you get loud. You can try a compressor on your voice to make the quiet parts louder and the loud parts quieter
I see that you are into strategy/ puzzle games so I highly suggest some of the iron hide games, some of the kingdom rush games or iron marines, it would be nice if I can see your gameplay of those games
So when is World of goo coming up? A few puzzle+adventure games I would recomend: Machinarium, eufloria, Windosill, osmos, unravel, Contre jour, Untitled goos game, limbo, creaks, ...
If you're searching for 3d puzzle games (like portal or the thalos principe for exemple) but ultra hardcore, you may like ".T.E.S.T Expected Behaviour"
On that 6th level you actually "did" an alternative solution, atleast the first half of getting the banana, you *can* get it with the 2, 2 lenght birds, and proceed to complete the level by doing like 5 more steps, instead you over complicated the solution in a really interesting way.
Its the opposite of the ending to baba is you lol. In baba, you destroy everything, In snake, you bring everything back (you know da fruits and rainbows from the black hole)

To be honest, on Bonus 6, I thought you'd have to fit a bird between that moving block and have another push it up, like an elevator. It even has the perfect shape and length
When Aliensrock uploads 3 hours earlier than normal
_These are confusing times_
I wasn't gonna sleep anyway, let's be honest
It is what it is 😂
IK right i’m guessing that you live in the east of US because of his upload schedule
I live in indonesia so me lucky

Kids in the back: Screaming
Dad: If you don't shut up imma turn this bird around.
Sad to see this end :(
Hey at least there is snakebird primer!
Is it a sequel?!
@@torreywhiting5402 kinda. It's bigger, a new fourth bird, and there still some hard stuff in there just easier than the normal game.
Ayy another game under the belt. This series was short and sweet.
Final level already. Goodbye UA-cam, Twitter, and Duoalingo.
;-;
*duolingo
You can never leave duolingo, duolingo must lose interest in you
lol the red, blue, and green birds
There's a new yellowbird in snakebird primer what will you call yellow bird?
I swear, I was so glad when I saw this notification pop up, great way to end the night, with snakebird
Is Talos Principle next then? You mentioned you were going to play it soon at the end of The Witness series.
I've streamed it a good amount, but people are progressively losing interest. Might try a couple episodes on UA-cam, but I think it's going to be a stream-only game.

Congratulations, mr. aliensrock! Very nicely done!
Tyler finally got the big boy streamer mic. I'm proud man
Aliensrock: snakebird finale!
UA-cam: mario maker 2...
Spraying a fountain of fruit over an island of snakebirds sounds like a really fast way to make nightmare spaghetti
Loved watching snakebird! Really enjoy watching you play puzzle games, will we get to see more of the minesweeper one after this?
wow i cant believe you actually did it without nearly the average amount of fails
I thought the end was gonna be like Baba’s but then FRUITTTTT!!!!!!!
thats it im turning this damn bird around!
Aliensrock uploading before my bedtime!?!?
I know Tyler was joking around during this calling everything an apple, but apple used to be a catch-all term for fruits, and still is in a few languages.
Moral of the story: there is no getting the hard part done in this game, it's all hard part
I swear a lot of people could list all these amazing puzzle games and I'm just here like yay Portal and Quantum Conundrum
You need big brain to complete, but biggest brain to make the levels
It really does lmao
Every time aliensrock posts Snakebird I just imagine him saying *"YOU GUYS ARE WATCHING BIRD UP"* alongside the music from The Eric Andre Show
None of the birds have ever seen each other awake
Aliens rock is actually a genius no kap
STEPHEN'S SAUSAGE ROLL WHEN
also have you heard of snakefall where you can share your own levels and make you own
If you liked the fairness and tight design of Snakebird you should try Steven Sausage Roll.
i feel like snakebirds are actually invasive species and cause untold ecological damage wherever they manage to portal into.
this was my favourite game you've played.
15:00 what the hell is he talking about?

“Stephen’s Sausage Roll” should be next, watched a UA-cam video by Joseph Anderson about it, seems like just you’re style
That was a really good series you should play more puzzles games. Keep up your good work.
Can you look at Machinarium. It is an amazing puzzle game with a hand-drawn art style
The one block snake bird is just angry birds
"I THINK WE GOTTA TURN THE GODDAMN BIRD AROUND"
"Ayyyyyyyyyyyyy-shit." is how my entire life is going
A 1-length snake bird would just be an angry bird
Hey aliensrock, if you liked snakebird, why not try "Stephen's Sausage Roll"

How did this video not get recommended to me
I have no idea what this game is or whos this guy but honestly immersive gameplay
3:55 doctor strange: we only win once
10:57 he gets thanos snapped
Remember your slogan was 'Turn the bird around'?

So much apples the snake from the snake game will be happy here
I was kinda hoping that when he completed the bonus levels, the snowman would come to life or something.
You should make 'Holy shit soo many apples!' into a donation sound :D
Just watching this game hurts my brain.

the yellow block in the first puzzle you did in this vid kinda looked like a really streched out nat geo logo

Samarost, and chuchel?
The black hole was definitely a portal to snake bird 2.
Ooh I'm excited to watch this
There’s a flying box in the top left in the grid on the final level. What would happen if you touched it?
It's just solid, I tested it
wow, he called all of non-apple apples in a game were no apples can be seen.
Game: Snakebird
UA-cam: Super Mario Maker 2
Hey, if you still gave the mic peaking issue, lower the gain a bit if you can tune.
I swear the videos keep getting earlier and eariler
12:33 is when I see this
Hold up the green snakebird looks like the Duolingo bird.
This man took a lot of time to figure out that
Sometimes the big brain play, is to make small brain moves
This is the best reward
Millions of apples
Thank god youtube is showing me your videos again, for the longest time they would never show up
This would be the perfect game to have a level editor!
If you're searching for 3d puzzle games (like portal or the thalos principe for exemple) but ultra hardcore, you may like ".T.E.S.T Expected Behaviour"
you should look up this game called lightmatter, its a little neat game about how shadows can kill you
Why do snake birds look like long furbies

Please play Stephen's Sausage Roll!
its fucking snakebird final destination
This is some galaxy brain shit
Are you planning on finishing the Talos Principle, I know you played it on your variety stream
