also the irregular shape of the dinosaurs increases the surface area so you get more crunchy crunch, so it can serve a purpose other than being cool

IT has a LOT of purpose, you get different textures from the small parts of the dinosaur and softer textured from the thicker parts!

That's not an easily methodologisable process. It's mostly intuitive after a lot of cooking experience. This request asks for him to teach you experience, which you only get with actual "experience". Any attempt to break it down like this will yield limited results.

@@lostindisorder Shallots are milder than onions and they’re in the same family and as such, can often be replaced for an onion if you don’t like how bold onions are. Shallots have a thinner skin and build so they cook and caramelize faster than an onion. A shallot and a very small red onion (especially an oblong one) look damn near the same, even more so if u don’t know what a shallot is… anyways I digress but my point is you’re wrong haha shallots can absolutely be compared to onions. In many ways.

The store bought he also oven baked instead of deep frying. Deep fry the store bought and they'd be much nicer. Not on par with his, but not a laughing joke like they are in this video. This video is comparing apples to oranges, not apples to apples. If you don't deep fry your frozen fries/nuggies, you're missing out. Much less time/effort, and super tasty. Not as good as home made, but you also don't have 5000 dishes/ramekins to wash after the fact.

My memory is telling me it was a brownie with sprinkle but when I Google it you can clearly see it is pudding with sprinkle. Also remember the corn would always be on the bottom of the pudding

I literally pulled these out to make for my kids night and had seen enough of these videos and thought "he should do these and actually make them in the shape of dinos." Yeah those nuggets are definitely lying about how long you gotta heat em up, you gotta bake em for like 30-40 mins to make them crispy enough to be palatable
Air fryer on 400° for 12 minutes
I use a pizza pan (has holes through out) for frozen anything to get it crispier. Makes a big improvement!

@@kaillee6279 I’d assume pan in the oven, since this is how I make mine. The pizza pan gives 360 Degree Cronch™️ and baking longer than directed also gives them time to c w i s p up and some of the icky grease to cook off.

You baked the factory dinos and deep fried your homemade, deep fry the factory and see if they don't crisp up. Maybe the oil fry would help improve the old rag flavor of the factory dinks as well!
This was my issue as well, it’s a bit unfair to compare the two when they weren’t even made the same way
I suppose, but generally that’s the intended way to make them. Not the best one, but the one instructed on the package and the version most children eat.
I literally ate these nuggets last night for dinner and if you bake them for double the amount of time, they do crisp up. But yes he shouldve deep fried them to have a similar taste - they are NOT as bad at filet o fish.
Not only that but the box said "meat & veggie" so they're like.. not fully chicken either.
You also gotta bake the store bought ones about three times as long as directed. You can get that magnificent C R O N C H with minimal greasiness by baking the store ones on a pizza pan for like a half hour for 360 cwispiness or air frying for like 15-20.

Reminds me of when I used Joshua’s eggnog recipe to make nog while I was visiting my family over the holidays. I wanted nog, didn’t feel like going to buy store nog, my parents’ kitchen had all the ingredients so I made some.
My family, who historically hated eggnog (apparently my dad got sick when he tried nog years ago), hesitantly decided to try my nog for the sake of being kind, and they ended up LOVING IT. Absolutely loving it. Definitely will make more for them next Christmas.

Single Mom here. Back in the early 90's my son refused to eat tuna casserole EVER AGAIN. As that was a really affordable option, I purchased then available, dinosaur shaped pasta, and told him it was Dinosurprise. Yeah, he ate it.

Deep-frying the store-bought nuggets helps them tremendously. No, they still aren't great, but they do become edible.
I put them in my air fryer and they get super crispy! Much better and so easy when I don’t feel like cooking

I was searching for ways to make my own Dino nuggets for my autistic son who is obsessed with them. He won’t eat any veggies. So I was looking to blend them into the ground chicken. This at least is a pretty straightforward video and gives me a cheaper way to get the dino shape. I originally thought molds would be my answer to the shape but they’re more expensive than dinosaur cookie cutters! So thank you!!

Whenever I have store bought frozen nuggets, I cook them in the air fryer. It makes them crispier and less greasy than the oven. Obviously still not as good as making your own, but it's better than what you put in the oven
