Very simple recipe as it goes. You can add brown sugar and butter for richness. The gold standard for peanut bars was Old Dominion, not made anymore by the original company. Planter's stopped making theirs years ago. There is only Mar's Munch bar left if you can find them in stores. Hard to figure why such a great classic snack became so less popular.

Or you could pour peanut into syrup mix while hot & sir, then pour into 8x8 & flatten. I'm trying this recipe this weekend for sure.
