- While "Lifelike" and "Wind Tempos" are beautiful, they are delicate. "Unfold" is explosive with hard hitting words and a wall of sound each chorus--which is why I had a lot of fun playing this one. 0:40 and 1:00 literally thought you were going to break out into full chorus of "Goodbye to a World" for a second... took me a minute to work out if it was just the same chords progression by chance or if you'd taken the lick just before the chorus lol....good to know i wasn't going mad when it came back in the outro! lovely as always though Jenny. I love your little modal switches.
Ahahah for this song I really wanted to stay true to Unfold because every part was important, and Divinity was allowed only because I didn't compromise any part of Unfold for it (and Porter had already done it) haha :D GTAW was such a useful transition from verse to chorus that I decided to give it a little more spotlight at the end hehe :)
Your covers are next-level, for real. There are many channels that do covers of artists, but some of them end up being bland or doing the bare minimum. You on the other hand, show off your amazing talent, you experiment with each track, and you still stay true to the beauty of each track you play!
I used to play on UA-cam with the sole purpose of getting views (Justin Bieber's "Yummy," some k-pop etc) and speed was more important than actually liking the song, but it was the end of 2019 that I realized I was doing it all wrong and 1) playing songs I LOVED and 2) expressing myself, no matter how that may sound, is way more important than views and numbers hehe :)
The level of concentration, the expressions, everything is just pure bliss. Thank you for this upload, looking forward to many more 🥰

Whoa…this is easily one of your best covers yet. The references you’ve chosen are so well thought out; it’s so cool how you’ve used the Goodbye to a World transitions, and Divinity also fits so well here. But not only that, some of the chord choices and voicings you made are really beautiful (like the one at 3:10 is so perfect for this), in addition to the power that you put into it.
Really love this one. Definitely one of my favourites ☺️ (it’s also one of the first things that I see if you google Porter Robinson unfold so that’s nice).

Edit: Good bye to a World and Divinity were definitely big mashups but your ears are working harder than mine for GYW and SoCo haha. The final notes when I listened back DOES kind of sound like SoCo but it's actually the lyrics "so be here with me" 💕

I changed the chords in the second verse because I LOVE how Porter actually sings the second verse all edgy (but I can't sing or play the melody like that so I changed what I could) and then yes Divinity, I remember watching with my friends and we were like OH NO HE DIDN'T WTFFFF 💕💕💕

Your magical touch on the piano really made this sound so beautiful. This is beautiful beyond any words in the lexicon could described. I really admire not just your wonderful piano skills but your artistry whenever you arrange a piano cover. You usually won't settle with the bare minimum but you'll always use your excellent sense of musicality and artistry to improvise a song. Your arrangements are always outstanding and I guess I can never ever say enough how great you are as a piano music arranger. Keep doing what you love and great at. I truly admire your work in music.

This is my favorite of your arrangements from this album, mainly because you do some things with the piano as an instrument that are not typical of its use. What's normally done through sampling and editing in the original songs, you reconstructed through playing style in this arrangement. How awesome and what a modern and novel way to play the piano. That whole section from 3:50 on woooooow! It's not even the best part, it's just so clever! 😎
Random sidenote: I have no idea if my audio is off b/c I'm wearing a bluetooth headset but it is out of sync with the video. Is that just me?
