riot definetly was not thinking of nagakeporos when they wrote that lore, but they may tweak it

+TheWitherCraft Nope, Ludvig is right. The mythical spider god mentioned in Elise's lore is Vilemaw, although in the lore he's supremely more powerful than in the game, far more poweful than any champion or a lot of champions alone, much like an actual god.

i wish riot would implement the lore more into the game, you need to go to websites to read the full lores of recent champions and that really sucks..
I know I'm late but Riot just released The Ruined King and there's so much lore in it. Illaoi is actually my favorite character in both LoL and The Ruined King.
Nagakoburos really look like a cthulhu like creature... and you know which champions are designed on the Lovecraftian universe? void creatures. May the void be a kind of ancient god realm? with the story of malzahar and kassadin that totaly make sense.

I am having trouble fully grasping illaoi's personality,
In the superficial level, she is brutish, devoted to her religion and merciless in combat
But she has a smidge of kindness and has faith in the worst of the worst,
She will give out second chances, but not third chances.....
Did I get everything? because I can't help but feel like something is still missing......

So something interesting about Illaoi.
Illaoi's faith is all about doing what you are meant to do; being yourself basically.
This is why some champions are worthy regardless of good/evil. Jhin, interestingly, it's considered an auto-fail.
From Jhin's creator directly, Jhin fails because he is not true to himself and it is implied in his voice lines about being compelled, how he tries to stop by he lies to himself every time.
I find it very interesting.

A great evil could be coming... or a great good. Doesn't seem like that god cares about good or evil, just balance in life and death. Without death he can't create new life. There might be someone coming to abolish death entirely, which would in turn stop him from creating life..

Your lore videos are the best.
I love the strong directions towards mythology with the latest batch of champions. While I am sad Riot confirmed future champions will be on a smaller scale like Ekko or Kalista, I'm liking the new direction these stories are taking.
I personally have more fun watching your videos than playing the game

riot has an extremely high potential of success if they commissioned the creators of the original avatar to make an anime that follows the lives and lore of every champion in the game and how they tie into each other.

I feel like sooner or later there's going to be a new game mode to fight against this great evil with whatever champs maybe have been given the power to fight it, but it's hard to imagine Riot going with something like that. Maybe it'll be related to the second game they've started working on? Either way I'm very pleased with the improvements to the lore, even the new Poppy is much better.
