- I was out for a run, came round a corner on the bit of the East Lothian coast that looks like cornwall, and it was wall to wall seals... I grabbed a few clips - I'm not David Attenborough, that's for sure.

Delilah Smith has a good recipe on page 213. It's between rook pie and whole welshman rarebit !
Still working on my Christmas dinner... I've got to take it easy, I'll probably work on the loaves and fishes idea - there's a shop near me does line caught trout and salmon, which would be nice... The local market used to sell rook, but I never tried it
@@eddiedubourg2608 The trout / salmon does sound good. I refuse to eat rook as I never eat anything with an IQ more than me.

As students up from London we once tried to cook a huge dead seal on a fire up at Betty Hill after a few beers. Didn't go well.
