You haven't been looking hard enough for new music then, just taken chart music and popular streaming music at face value. Some amazing bands out there now they just don't get the recognition because capitalism thrives on profit not art

Don't know if they were stronger back then or we just weren't as used to them. But me and a mate laugh about the time we went out on a Friday night and we were still gurning and having to stop ourselves from dancing in a branch of Our Price records on Saturday lunch time.
I know it's side tracking the main subject a little, but isn't the girl with the red hair in the spaghetti ad, Lindsey Layton? I'm sure she was lead singer in 'Beats International' with Norman Cook. They had a number one record round about 1990.
