10/10 for the clip of Paul Rudd's "death." Well-played!
It's not my favorite example, but Richard Moll also died in the beginning of EVILSPEAK (1981), only to be resurrected to possess Clint Howard's Apple II computer. You heard me.
Also, if memory serves, John Astin was also killed in the 1989 teen zombie flick NIGHT LIFE.
But whatever. This video was fantastic.
I need to see EVILSPEAK. Thanks for this.
"A lot of people say it was inspired by Metamorphisis, but, who cares?" That was really good
You forgot to mention John Travolta's car death scene in _Carrie._
You're right! Back then he was Barbarino.
You’re right I’ll never look at Alfonso Ribeiro/Carlton again the same way 😁
ha ha -- thanks Marie!
Great idea for an episode, and it was very entertaining!
So well done!
Lol this video is awesome. Thanks for this. You should be in your videos more often.
Jay Thomas, the cop sitting next to John Goodman in CHUD, was in a ton of tv shows and movies, including Mork & Mindy, Cheers, and starring in Love & War with Susan “Laurie Partridge” Dey. 🎃
Yes he was great on those shows -- and won an Emmy for his work on MURPHY BROWN. Really funny actor, that C.H.U.D. clip is a 2-for-1.
Oh, this is a special video among special videos. This might even surpass your Dr. Zaius effort!
thank you kindly.
Love your videos
I remember seeing Carlton die in Ticks when I was a kid, it was really messed up to see when your 7 years old!
I think I saw Jay Thomas in that movie with John Goodman. He was in at least 3 sitcoms.
That I'm Dangerous Tonight movie scared the hell outa me as a kid
Sitcom actors getting killed is like the best video to watch this Thanksgiving.
John Goodman was also possessed and killed in Fallen.
ooh, thanks for that! I haven't seen FALLEN.
@@KevinGeeksOut It's a total jam. It's a demonic possession thriller with cop drama trappings.
@@melscott1571 Time is on my side, yes it is...
Only cause of her recent passing. I'm mentioning Cindy Williams being devoured in the terrible Larry Hagman Blob sequel Beware the Blob! Cindy along with her weed smoking boyfriend get busted sheltering in a storm drain by a motorcycle cop. And the Blob traps and consumes them all. This movie was dubbed "The film JR shot". Sigh...😕
Joseph Gordon Levit from 3rd Rock gets skate to the face in Halloween H20
Yes, you are correct! It's funny, there are a few actors we considered who were killed in horror films but we thought of them as movie stars rather than sitcom actors. (i.e. Charlie Sheen gets killed in GRIZZLY 2 -- we could've included him since he was on TWO AND A HALF MEN, but it didn't seem right.) Anyway, JGL seems like more of a movie star, despite starting on a network sitcom.
Adam Scott was also killed in the movie Krampus. In this Christmas horror movie, he dies a hero trying to protect his family.
Kudos for the Mac and Me clip while talking about Paul Rudd. Those who watched Conan know😂
HAHAHAHAHAHA
You have Richard Moll as 'Richard Maul'.
John Ratzenberger was also in a little-known indie film called Star Wars before he was on Cheers.
Not specifically the star of a sitcom but George Clooney was in Return to Horror High and he gets killed off, he would later become a horror survivor in From Dustk Till Dawn.
You're right! And in RETURN TO HORROR HIGH Clooney appears with Alex Rocco, who had also bee in THE FACTS OF LIFE (as Joe's Dad.) Believe it or not there was a method to choosing people to include in this video. Charlie Sheen dies in GRIZZLY 2. He starred in a couple of sitcoms (Two and a half Men, Anger Management) but I think of him as a movie star, not a sitcom star. Same with Clooney, I don't immediately associate him with his sitcom roles.
I wouldn’t say that was the end of Betty White’s career.
House is unhinged , watch it if you want to see something compelety nutz
How the hell is Johnny Depp in A Nightmare on Elm Street not on this list? He was in 21 Jump Steeet and that death in NOES is iconic
Sure, Depp is killed in TWO Elm Street movies (the original NOES and Wes Craven's NEW NIGHTMARE), so that's a big deal. This video was focused on sitcom stars killed in horror movies and we didn't consider 21 JUMP STREET a sitcom. The recent movies are comedies, but the original series was a teen drama/police show.
In Massacre at Central High, the first clip you showed... is that the clock tower from Back to the Future???
Some superficial research shows that the BTTF clock tower was on the Universal backlot (and it appeared in a bunch of films including GREMLINS and BYE BYE BIRDIE) -- whereas MASSACRE used Pomona College as the exterior of the high school.
@@KevinGeeksOut Thank you for this insight!!!
For years I was convinced I made up that episode of Punky Brewster
I always thought the guy from "Leprechaun" was a low rent Kevin Bacon.
ha!
Man....is Rainn Wilson "married" to that hair-doo or what? That's a horror right there.
Alot of these movies had a small budgets so they either get actors looking for their big break or actors looking to resurrect there careers 🤔
Why would you do a recap of 20-2 when I JUST spent the last 15 minutes watching it?
I know it's cheating because it was a TV show, but I'd be remised if I didn't mention the sadly now late Leslie Jordan getting disemboweled during a season of American Horror Story.
He got killed in all 3 seasons of American Horror Story he appeared in; for a film example they could have used his death in Jason Goes to Hell
John Travolta was also killed in Carrie.
I'm pretty sure that UA-cam won't let this Video get monitized
13:00 Does Paul Rudd count as a Friends Actor when he was only in 16 Episodes out of 236 Episodes
for the purpose of the bit, yes. outside of that bit, no.
6:10 John Travolta was in Carrie
5:18 what are these ladies supposed to be doing? I can think of a couple things but their form is all wrong
Trovolts was killed in Carrie
John Goodman also gets killed in Arachnaphobia, doesn't he?
He plays exterminator Delbert McClintock but he doesn't die.
