i think it's based on an old movie named 'Edward Scissor-hands' by the bloke who played Captain Jack Sparrow. Edward isn't a real human, more like an android, but he develops a requited love for a human girl, whose jerk-of-a-boyfriend gets killed by Edward. i only remember few of the scenes, but it's one heck of a great movie, graphics aside
