The video was supposed to be about animals but it was actually all about why humans can not find their ways.
Aren't humans animals as well?
Humans are also animals.
+Shoulders of Giants but plural hence humans + another animal
Who else likes watching these videos?
me! :D nice channel btw socuteari

You don't?
These are my favorite types of videos to watch!!
*~Remembers homeward bound~*
*~Takes day off work to cry~*
I'm so glad discworld came up. That made my day.
In order to get a good knowledge of navigation you need to get lost for couple of times and try to get back without any GPS or other things. Only if you are lost you will seek and find the ways and means to learn to navigate.
I tend to find my way around when I'm not consciously thinking of where I need to go and basically "let my feet take me"
The movie reference! Thank you for that!
My dog sometimes gets outside and walks around the neighborhood & it's a pretty big neighborhood . She always comes back home & I've always wonder how she knew where she lived . I always assumed that she remembered since I take her on walks every once in a awhile .
i'm actually really good at not getting lost. i've gone to cities i've never been to and found my destinations just fine. even before smart phones.
Amazing video 👍
I have a horrible sense of direction when it comes to finding a new place but I can always find my way back home. I use to ride my bike a lot and get lost intentionally just so I would have to work harder to find my way back home
The magnetic thing could be true, i could always find my way around in miles of woods but get lost in a large building. I'm assuming all the electronics and steel in a building could affect this...........After visiting multiple buildings for work I became adept at navigating them also, probably learned to use the visual map in my head better.
Good
Can't tell you from right to left. But otherwise very good with storing where I've been and getting there
Why do foods that would normally burn my hands and skin not burn my mouth when I eat them? is the mouth more resistant to heat?
how can you get lost its so easy if you have a compose or just can simply use the sun, moon, or stars. though I do wonder in the woods allot as a kid and I got used to it.
I got a question dnews how can windmills turn wind into energy
lmao for some reason the joke in the intro cracked me up so bad lol
this channel reboosted my love for science. Thank you...
Baba ji gate open
Missing a direction given by voice nav usually doesn't have anything to do with your sense of direction.
Okay, so now a video about how animals find their way home WITH GPS!
What if people started to become nocturnal? What would happen to us as people; would our characters start to change; how would society react to this new change in human behavior?
Nice birdchopper shirt.
help i am lost and i do not know where i am going
Whats up with the highpitched noise in the background
It is music... -_-
soooooo ... now i know how cancer sounds
+Drakon Daedalus booom
Julian sounds a lot like Julia .... Ooooh Julia!!
I never heard about Julian getting lost tho.
3:02 *hears Game of Thrones theme song again*
That was pretty funny in the beginning, the jokes usually are cringey and corny
0:20 *hears Game of Thrones theme song*
Winter is coming!!
did he forget to mention the pigeons whose good at navigating home?
Julien still looks like a high school freshman unsure of his life decisions.
Lov
This video would be complete if Scooby Doo (geek version) was in it too.
Why are his eyes going in different directions?
What about Iron in their blood cells and their brain has that directional sense
I wonder how it feels to feel where to go in eyes. Funny enough, I think this happens to me when I get high. Not the eyes but my mental mapping.
SO How do animals find their way home without GPS?
My cat is missing right now, I'm so worried
The title of this video in demeaning
Dont forget to watch the game Albania vs Romania
who even still watches baseball? waaack!
I like your profile pic Itachi-sama
+Samed Šabanović Thx mate
Without GPS? Lol I thought all this time...
I listened until the evolution of humans from, fish was included.
They ask for help?
It's not a bug, it's a feature!
I have a question for you guys. Why do we get that burning sensation in our eyes?
GLONAS
Inuit words for snow? _Really?_
Slush, snow, packing snow, flurry, whiteout, hail, :P you get the point. English has dozen of words for literally everything and nobody seems to be surprised for some reason...
Drop me anywhere in the world of Cyrodiil or Azeroth and ill know exactly where i am. Or even MOST the map of gta5... but remember anything i learned just a few hours earlier back in High school once i was home? no way man....
You know why birds fly south for the winter? Because it's too far to walk.
I remember the whole gta v city i dont need the map is that bad?
Now try that with the witcher 3.
"And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.
Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought."
The Quran
just like our inability to find our global positioning, this video has become lost in answering the question and focused in something completely different.
Life noggin
do you even lift bro?
WE THINK- science 101
Easy they use old fashioned maps
I am literally zorro
noooo Julian not your hair noooo anything but your hair
Don't forget *cats* ...they always seem to escape that garbage bag, swim back to land and walk back 20miles to home!!
fourth?
This guy looks like Citizen Z from Z Nation
They ask Siri ;)
His eye drifts to his left can't stop paying attention to it
Dr Robert Lanza pioneer of stem cell cloning can tell you the real reason fish and birds navigate so well and can move together in unison. I don't want anyone just taking my word. That's the problem. Believing something even though you've personally not done the studies or research. The box style of thinking can be reversed.
Because they're psychic
Homing
The question title seems ignorant, but this is DNews, so I'm okay with it, they're cool but if it was BuzzFeed I would have been so irritated by them, BuzzFeed is the worst of the worst.
157th
The end of the title to this video is redundant
The beginning of the title to this video is misleading you hardly talk about animals and it's not very comprehensive
+Maui Randall Humans are animals
Andrew Lam thats a copout and they talk about how people need shit to get home
who the fuck needs gps to get to their home?
even you would need it, if you were dropped on a deserted spot...
background music is suck
this tells us nothing about how animals find their way home.. only about how humans are bad at directions...
What's wrong with your eyes?
Shadow of his glasses. Guessing that is what you meant
Examples of fallacies: Humans are the most intelligent animal.
If a bat gives human a test on echolocation, we would fail and the bat concludes we are stupid. But we give animals test on our form of intelligence, and proclaim ourselves the smartest animal.
Intelligence is measured by what a being can do with what's given...so can a bat solve logical problems? If humans had echolocation then we would be able to outdo bats because we're smarter creatures
Deebo Molina Says the human :)
i thought i was an animal
It's easy. The don't stare down at their phones when travelling like the stupid humans do.
"How do animals find their way home"
And what are humans? Plants? Shouldn't we say 'other animals'?
I love all birds. Except pigeons, because of the pestrual nature. They literally make people sick.
Longer pauses between sentences everybody. Don't listen to these crackpots who want you to try to be as fast as a computer.
that chick holding the map is beautiful

men are better navagators than women in generel due to our hunter gather instinct but modern technology has started to hinder that over the years. the more we rely on technology to find things for us the less sense we have to find things for ourselves..
You understand that in the hunter/gatherer society scenario then men hunted while the women gathered..
You think you know something that happened 20000 years ago?
Napoleon It's common knowledge.. also there are cultures in different parts of the world that remained in that position until much more recent times historically. I was pointing out to the op that men are better than women because of hunter/gatherer instinct but it's women that did the gathering in general not the men. You have to be extremely uneducated to not know that..
It was because woman were bearing, raising and protecting children and not because they were bad at hunting or navigation.
dude get different glasses... I can't even take the video seriously. they magnify your eyeballs like 12x ... so yeah...
idiot
i agree its so distracting
