    The video was supposed to be about animals but it was actually all about why humans can not find their ways.

    In order to get a good knowledge of navigation you need to get lost for couple of times and try to get back without any GPS or other things. Only if you are lost you will seek and find the ways and means to learn to navigate.

    My dog sometimes gets outside and walks around the neighborhood & it's a pretty big neighborhood . She always comes back home & I've always wonder how she knew where she lived . I always assumed that she remembered since I take her on walks every once in a awhile .

    I have a horrible sense of direction when it comes to finding a new place but I can always find my way back home. I use to ride my bike a lot and get lost intentionally just so I would have to work harder to find my way back home

    The magnetic thing could be true, i could always find my way around in miles of woods but get lost in a large building. I'm assuming all the electronics and steel in a building could affect this...........After visiting multiple buildings for work I became adept at navigating them also, probably learned to use the visual map in my head better.

    Dr Robert Lanza pioneer of stem cell cloning can tell you the real reason fish and birds navigate so well and can move together in unison. I don't want anyone just taking my word. That's the problem. Believing something even though you've personally not done the studies or research. The box style of thinking can be reversed.

    Examples of fallacies: Humans are the most intelligent animal.
    If a bat gives human a test on echolocation, we would fail and the bat concludes we are stupid. But we give animals test on our form of intelligence, and proclaim ourselves the smartest animal.

    • @Moscato_Moscato
      @Moscato_Moscato 8 років тому +2

      Intelligence is measured by what a being can do with what's given...so can a bat solve logical problems? If humans had echolocation then we would be able to outdo bats because we're smarter creatures

    men are better navagators than women in generel due to our hunter gather instinct but modern technology has started to hinder that over the years. the more we rely on technology to find things for us the less sense we have to find things for ourselves..

      Napoleon It's common knowledge.. also there are cultures in different parts of the world that remained in that position until much more recent times historically. I was pointing out to the op that men are better than women because of hunter/gatherer instinct but it's women that did the gathering in general not the men. You have to be extremely uneducated to not know that..
