Cool attempt but any board $2500+ should have a minimum of 1,500-1800w battery . $2600 and 544w battery is a slap in the face to the consumer. Design wise 10/10 and you can just buy the bigger battery and its gear drive so 6/10 on value for the price
Thanks for the feedback! Please let me explain our thinking regarding various specs and binding options. The focus of the 544Wh battery is weight. We come from the mountainboard side of things and jumping is very important to us as you can see from the video. That's the focus of our AGENT AIR model. The 540 battery is 4 lbs lighter than the 1080 battery. That might not be much in the eskate world in general, but it is a lot when it comes to jumping, especially if you're flipping. The reason we put so much into the development of the quick swap battery tech is so people can have a light board option, and still be able to expand their range as much as they want via extra batteries in the future (540 or 1080). Like power tools. No one wants to carry around a drill that has a battery big enough to last all day. They just swap batteries out as they go and charge the others in the meantime. That's the idea of the AIR with its 540 battery. The 1080 battery sounds like it's the better option for traditional eskate people. We just wanted to think into the future by providing a foundation for swapping batteries so customers can configure it to exactly the way they want it, and be able to change that configuration on the fly rather than buying a whole different board. Not just with the existing battery options, but any new ones we release moving forward. It's a system, and any board in the range serves as a foundation to that system. Hope that makes sense!
@ you’re right I’m coming from the perspective of a street board. Jumping and off-roading are completely different than what I do which is track/drag racing with a 14s10p. I still think the lowest tier battery could be a bigger maybe 870-900wh for $2600 . My board with 14s10p 2590wh is 45lbs and I know for a fact 500wh gets voltage sag around 8miles and for off-roading that torque will be noticeably decreased. But everything else is actually amazing, I would definitely buy this as my first mountain board .
@@HaunchoJackHD Thank you so much for the suggestion. We're constantly developing so you never know. It sounds like you're pushing the boundaries on the ground. That's awesome! Look forward to seeing you out on the dirt one day.
@@mbsmountainboards how do you swap a battery on the go? Would that not be extremely heavy in a backpack? Great idea if you have a couple batteries one for jumping and one for long distances. I have that setup already with a custom build using one of your boards and trucks. It doesn’t snap into place but it’s swapped in 15 seconds.
Looks awesome, but the price is pretty insane, agreed. Another issue, it's so low to the ground for being a focused mountain board. Even if you have clearance with the battery on top, the motors are a couple inches off the ground. The fatter tires look nice for stability, and I love the hot swappable battery. I know Acedeck is working on a mountain board with a swappable battery as well, I'm guessing it will be similar to the Nyx 3 but swappable. That aside, being able to update the firmware is excellent and controller looks great.
Would really love win this board as new to electric board skating just a little out of my range. Still love the video will help me choose a board would just like to say to people thinking about getting a board?Safety equipment important to
News electric board skateing, love your videos. Will really help me choose the right board for myself? You just like to say to people, don't forget safety equipment important to
Wow! That’s insane pricing. What can you expect from Exway? Good quality parts and you get what you pay for. By the way, where’s Exway’s Black Friday deals at?
Do you think they’ll ever design anything that is just street staking based but electric? Probably hard to design with so much tech in it but I know it’s do able
Totally understand the tears. We so wish we could have made it cheaper. We hate that there are people who deserve one of these that won't be able to afford one. But when we look at every design decision we made along the way, there's not a single one we'd change. And the price is a direct result of those choices. Our objective was to make something bad ass from a performance perspective (18S, 6890 motors, P42A cells) and make it low maintenance and worry free (helical steel gears). Because we believe that's what is required to push this side of the sport forward in a meaningful way. There are so many details that warranty the price. We'll do some tech talk videos to help explain those details. We know that won't make these any more affordable. 😭 But it will hopefully help illustrate the tremendous value these represent, regardless of the price.
@@mbsmountainboards I understand. In my heart, I know the board is worth every dollar, but…….Some of us, like me, have a wife that would murder us for paying that much for what they think is “just a skateboard”-- please help us somehow!!! lol 😂
This looks really cool, but I just don't see the justification in the pricing. Even after import fees and unfavorable exchange rates,, you could get a premium Trampa for considerably less.
I wonder how many people ride with right foot forward vs left. Whenever I'm on a board, I'm always left foot forward, but I see a ton of people in videos who always ride with right foot forward.
@@evtechsteven Thanks so much for doing this video, and kickstarting the conversation around these! As with the original mountainboard we designed back in the 90's, our target market has always been... ourselves! We know that's not the best business strategy 🤣, but it has allowed us to survive as a brand for over 30 years, make some amazing mountainboards, inspire an entirely new sport, and have a lot of fun along the way. This AGENT series is the same. A few years back, when we realized the potential for this side of the sport to push new boundaries we went through the very same design process as back then. In short, what do WE want to ride? Because if all else fails, at least there is an amazing product out in the world that allows some people to push some boundaries and have some crazy stuff! As mentioned above, that's the idea behind the AIR model. It wasn't about offering a cheaper option. It's about the fact that there are things we/you can do on that board that you simply can't on a heavier version.

Great boards and with many informations about trends in our hobby, very well done !
That skate board just straight ups bends the laws of phisics. I need it.
So crazy to go off road ! Expensive, but it is the total package
This is wild! The price is crazy. Electric skateboards evolved so quickly to where they are now.
That's thing rips. Scary fast
Expensive, but hard to beat the power of those boards !
Looking forward to some hard road testing on this frisky beast.
That looks like it would be insane off-road!!
Love it. Cant wait to own an e-skate

I like the idea of the hot swappable battery but that price is going to hold it back.

Those prices are nuts 😢

Sweet promotional video. The Prometheus suits my needs better
suspension doesn't seem to be soft enough for offroading
When is giveaway exactly?
I was waiting on this moment , it takes little time but finally here! Not so bad. So hope someone will test it soon 🤘🛹
why is so many great boards like theese without full suspension??
WOW i know what im getting if i hit it big at the casino.
It looks like an interesting board, but the price is too high for me.
Bro is really cranking out these videos
Damn you are on top of it
It maybe the Lorentz killer!

Sheesh I surely can’t afford it but if I was rich I’d be excited haha
Big chilling!
Crazy cool bored but far too much money for me to dish out on a board
Is there really enough of a customer base for this type of board at this price? I guess time will tell..
Judging by the way they are advertising the specs. Peak kw and peak Volts… looks like they are trying to upsell into the Sur-Ron crowd.

Las comparaciones siempre son odiosas, pero me gustaria ver un cara a cara entre Acedeck z3 1550Wh, y la Exwayplorer 4wd..
Always hard to make a choice
