  • Bottle dump treasure hunts often require a lot of probing and digging before success. Join me as I test three different locations in the search for the next mega bottle dump site. Our best find is a rare druggist from Palatka, Florida.
As you will see, there are no guarantees and more than a few rabbit holes to back out of.
Please don’t forget to “like” and “subscribe.”
    Many thanks for watching…Bob Lee

The beautiful glossy shards you were bringing up, the pink, green and red and sending to your relative...that's English Majolica ware dated around the late 19th Century, to early 20th Century. I agree the brass piece at the end could be a "toilet ring" but it looked more like the base of an early 20th century gas wall sconce. I may be pushing it on that one, but that's what it reminded me of, lol. Your Indian is made from a lead mold, dated early 1900's. You're finding treasure, I sure wish I could be there with you.

Hi Julianne…you really know your stuff. I’ve only been at this for a couple of years, so I need all the help I can get. What would be the best resource for me to learn the basics of turn-of-the-century plateware? I very much appreciate your comments and interest.

@@relicrescueusa3803 I love thrift stores, and research. Sometimes it's from watching UA-cam channels just like yours. Google can help a lot as well. Glad to be of help, but I'm no expert either.

Extremely well put together video! Excellent finds. I'm right down the road in Gainesville and do a lot of bottle hunting around here!

Believe me, I’m well aware of who the famous WILDKYLE is! I subscribed to your channel way before I started mine. In fact, I studied your methods along with Adventure Archeology, Crick Diggers, and others. You have a nice, friendly way of relating to the camera and thus to your viewers. I began metal detecting but find myself drawn to the old bottles. Anyway, thank you so much for watching. Perhaps we will get together one day. My son happens to live in Gainesville and owns Skyfrog Landscaping.

You made me chuckle on the toilet ring. You never know until you dig it. Very nice finds and a pretty homesite.

Nice to see a Florida bottle channel. My wife's families lived across the road from us since 1870. I know of seven of they're house locations, but unfortunately it's part of a park preserve now so no digging.

Thanks, Mark…glad you appreciate a Florida bottle hunting UA-cam. I have other bottle digging videos as well. Too bad the old homesites across the street form you are unavailable to dig. Sounds like it would be have been an excellent site to explore.

The earliest newspaper clipping I could find of the Putnam Pharmacy was from the Palatka Daily News, March 1st. 1884.
Another article from 1885 stated they were on the corner of Front and Lemon Street in the Bishop and Kean Building. Gov. F. Peek was the Pharmaceutical Chemist. Last Palatka Daily News marketing ad was on Oct. 27th 1915.

You cant stick a shovel in the ground and not find glass lol Lucky. The dark bottle by the church might be a paper label bitters. Don't quote me on that. Thanks for sharing.

The clear cylinder bottle that tapered at the base is a olive oil bottle.👍☮️

Hey Sonny, thank for watching and for the insightful comment. Several viewers have mentioned that. I guess, I should have known it was an olive oil bottle, but then again I rarely cook unless it involves a fried egg sandwich😊
