My biggest fear would be that I would forget to wear pants. But other than that, I think I'll just stick to my little shop. LOL I did finally get my press in, and after a full week of being absolutely terrified of wasting emulsion I broke down and coated a few screens. It actually went great and my first time pushing ink through them went just as well. It was just one color out of a 4 color design, but I was super stoked with the results. So I cleaned out the screens and decided to print all 4 colors but smaller (for pocket area). Trying to do the emulsion looked like a remake of Carrie when they dumped the pig's blood on her. It was horrible and I'm still digging emulsion out of my fingernails. Hahaha! Anyway, I'm going to wash out and try again tomorrow. Get back on that horse...
Awesome! Yeah you definitely have to just get in there and do it. Make mistakes, learn from them. My first screen went pretty well, but I mess them up all the time even now haha.
Hey Josh--when you did your live event, how did you accept payment? I have an event coming up in a month and will make some t-shirts ahead of time (and a few other goodies) and aren't sure what would be a good payment method, besides cash and Venmo.
Hey Josh--what a cool video and dialogue. My fear would be I would set up and definitely have way too many t-shirts or way too few. I like that you were ultra prepared in what might go wrong. I remember from an earlier video you have a MPress Heat Press. Do you find that works pretty well? I don't have a conveyer dryer and think this might be a good option for me. I use 20x24 screens. Is the size you use a good size for 20x24 screens? Nice work!!
I think a heat press works fine if that's all you can get, but I wouldn't suggest it as a long term solution. My heat press is 15x15, so I couldn't cure a print bigger than that. Depends on the size of your graphic, but they do sell presses larger than 15x15.
Love it, great video. I didnt know live printing was a thing but I would def be one of those staring and mesmerized. Which reminds me I need a No Mans Sky shirt. Do you know anyone who screen prints?

Next time try a line table printer. Best way to print one shirt at a time with many colors and less space required

I use a Square reader for credit/debit cards. They can plug into your phone or connect via bluetooth depending on which one you buy.
@@joshisterrific Sweet! Thank you for this! I was looking at them a little today and thought should check around a little. Much appreciated!
