Shilloi Lake is located in Lutsam village of Phokhungri area under Meluri sub division, in Phek district, Nagaland. It is the largest natural lake in the State. About 290 km from the capital town of Kohima it takes about 10-12 hours by road (from the capital, Kohima).
Watching hilly tales is my new favorite hobby❤ it gives the vibe of our grandparents who are no more with us but who narrated different stories during our childhood❤
Long time ago before technology we use to hear from parents.. Thank you so much for new adaptive for new generation for the story legacy can go on forever...

My mom used to tell tales of Shiloi Lake not only one story but about a Man who used to Jump into the lake and even stayed there for months and returned home 😮
This story was long heard from the elderly people of my village. I wonder how do u collect these data's/folk- tales exactly like of my grandparents shared. Our village also resides near shilloi lake. Grateful for the video ✨👍

I love your videos, and the clips what AI do you use to generate your videos, I would be very happy if you can share, because i would like to also us sometimes so we can share the tale of our region and our region knkwn through stories, thank you.
Its actually called "shallow" Lake by foreign divers, but due to its Mispronouciation by the locals it was called shilloi lake, Nicely presented, actually it has the footprint , symboling that the devil stump upon it, its also said that devils from south and east assemble to fight each other and that the local could hear the slicing and echoing of the sword,
It's not a case of mispronounciation. As per their souvenir, shilloi is derived from the word shillo which means stagnant or still water. And lutsam means guarded or protected
Please make a story on A stone that eat away a baby ..while her mother was working on a field ,,who kept his baby at the rock cuz there was no one to look after her baby .. Yimkhiung story ...

Maybe Myth but I believe every tribals in NE have one river where it takes 2/4 lives every year and that too only males, we have one here in Lamka, Manipur too, where every year we have like 4 deaths and after that there is hardly any drowning after.
The story and the clip isn't the same with the story delivered by our Village chief ... I suggest hilly clan channel to please confirm and post for the world.
