It's an easy fix. Just weigh what you have upfront - then let him do his thing putting in a bit of this and a bit of that and then a bit more of the other. Then when it's all done and it's a good mash - reweigh it and then you know where you'll are. Simples.

I’ve meet Mark and digger in person they’re a blast to be around two great guys only carrying on a tradition that’s slowly going away. There was moonshiners that was in my family that dated all the way back to the civil war and then now I still carry on they legacy of my family

He said dont let it run faster than a match head you dont want your slop to get over 210 degrees , yeah that slow .if you run it hot as a stripping run you make it mean then you have to run it slower to make it not mean and loose flavor on that stripping run . But what do I know . I only did it for 20 sum yrs of my life .. I dont know anything .

It's not. The stuff in stores is made in a legal industrial distillery, and it's 80 proof like every other liquor sold in stores. Homemade high percentage actual moonshine is difficult to find, you have to know people that make it.
