Disabilities aren't just being able to use one hand. Disabilities vary, and disabled gamers that have things like arthritis, stumps, or other mobility disabilities have tried and tested this and makes a huge difference@@vladdx
The controlle is for people with diverse needs. Great and respectful idea from Sony
As a disabled gamer, this is actually really nice, and has me considering buying a PS five.
To be honest though, I’m used to the assessable controller from Xbox. This will definitely be a new learning curve, but maybe it’ll be easier to use than it looks.
Definitely want to check this out before I by the system..

I’m not disabled but I think this is the coolest thing. I love that it exists for the people who need it.
I like the idea of solving a problem. Especially when it comes to a disability. Be it a motor function, amputation, or one we can't see. I find it awesome.
But I am also glad that you have added more sounds of different objects and materials getting the finger slide.

Besides the actual purpose of those controller: They give me nostalgic oldschool gamepad vibes. Just as you showed the PS: Access Controller seems perfect for retro/arcade games such as Tekken, Doom and all the other ~70s-90s games.

Very kind from Sony to make an adaptive controller for people with disabilities. I'm an adaptive controller user to, but it's for quadriplegics, people that cannot use they're hands. Quadstick is the name of this type of controller and it's only one of it's kind.

I would like a controller that has no right thumb, but instead a touch sensor that reads your swipes. I suck at aiming with a controller joy stick, but am amazing with a touch sensor

I'm sorry but the endless clicking of that controller would drive me loopy. I have a cousin who is autistic and destroys controllers REGULARLY. I imagine this being thrown by him would kill someone, he could throw a cushion at you and injure you. He actually destroyed a large aquarium in his parents living room raging because the battery ran low in his PS4 controller and he threw the controller. The aquarium exploded and the living room was soaked, the fish were saved though. You HAVE to let him win at EVERY game or he will attack you, I mean claws out attack.... he's 15 btw. He's gone through so many consoles and TV's it's ridiculous. This would be a weapon in his hands. His parents enable his behavior.
