But I strongly dislike the name faltu productions! I think, our cuisine is an intrinsic and precious s part of our heritage. So unless you feel that unless our saraswat heritage itself is faltu, you wont dare to address such lovely people and food as faltu!

Actually your mom got basics correct. * Cast iron pan will beat any non stick pan * Flame should be medium while putting the item for safety and then it should be increased so that the oil temperature doesn't drop too low * Most important... Eat it fresh while podi is hot. :)

Hi Sneha I went over the whole video after reading your comment and I think all the relevant parts have been shown closely right from the insides of a jeevkadgi to how to clean, wash , apply salt etc to frying, that too considering my son who was only 12 at the time shooting it .
