Great idea and they look awesome!
I would love a variety of D-ring holders which look like the key ring holders.
What size d ring would they hold?
Maybe you could create 1/2”, 3/4”, and 1” sizes?

Really cool! One question for the custom templates, I know you can't say exactly how much it will cost without a file, but a rough estimate would help (both potential customers and yourself). Maybe like "6x6 starting at X" or something? As a hobbyist, it's probably all well outside my price range anyway, but would be nice to dream lol.

On veg tanned leather I mostly use my own stain that I make or a water based stain, specifically the ones that metropolitan leather sell. For edge paint, I use uniters 👍

tbh acrylic designs are basically made for semi mass production. smaller scale stuff is fine with printed paper patterns or pattern plastic
This is like, the step below getting a die cut press and stamp
