Thank you, Margret! ❤ Since I am a man, a started out by remove every single screw I could find. And when that didn't made the trick, I watched your video. Thanks! 😊
@Rear Facing Toddlers the cover is easy part. What about back strap? My kid vomited and its inside it. How can I clean it? I removed 4 screws but it doesn't help. I don't want to break any plastic
Years ago car seat harnesses were removable and could be washed. The problem with that was that people could use harsh soaps that could damage the fibres, and that the straps were often put back on wrong, making the seat unsafe. So now car seat manufacturers no longer make removable harnesses. If you need to clean them all you can do is wipe them with a damp cloth or a baby wipe. You should definitely not unscrew any part of the car seat.
@RearFacingToddlers i was able to open and clean this area between legs. If i wouldn't clean it, it would start smell badly. I couldn't only unplug side straps, but it's fine
They go at the top of the chest pads. You need to peel the chest pads off their Velcro, then pass the inserts elastic over the Velcro straps and stick the pads back down.
Hello Margret, is here a way of removing the buck strap, please? My child had been sick in the car seat too and the harness is soiled too. We tried to remove the screws around but it still won't come off. Thank you
Hi, I have just had a look at mine and I'm afraid it can't come off. Most car seat harnesses are not removeable, this is to make sure that they are not but back incorrectly. The only thing you can do it wipe it as best you can with a damp cloth and/or baby wipes.
My little one got sick today on our brand new car seat.. and your video is a life saver! Thank you!
You are so welcome!

Hi, could you please advise how to put the inserts back in? I am not sure where to put the elastic from the back support?
