I got to see this dude at the Texas Jam music festival in 1978. I was 6 years old. I was fortunate to have such a cool dad. My aunt and her best friend introduced me to good rock n roll, so he took them along with us as well. All he ever really wanted was to make sure I had happy, memorable childhood experiences.

A little background on Eddie his father was a New York City police officer and he followed in his father's shoes and became a New York City police officer but it's true calling he said was music and the rest is history.

He loved his fans and shook my husband's hand, along with many others in the first row. My husband told me "yeah, me and Eddie go way back, since about 1977". He was considered to be the hardest working man in rock n roll saying "I have grandkids to put through college". My husband was truly saddened when Eddie passed not too long ago

Almost everyone one of his songs can be the soundtrack of my life ! Henry Aaron just recently passed away and with his passing a huge chunk of my childhood went with him. I can say the same about Eddie Money’s passing . Just an all around great guy who made great memorable songs!
