    Loved the detailed review on audio quality, not many reviewers do that which essentially is the primary requirement for any earphone. Glad to see audio properties like soundstage, tonality, imaging, etc reviewed with and without app's sound profile. This is your first video I am seeing, and became a fan instantly. Would be great to compare these against Oppo Enco 2 pro, as these 2 are in the same bracket with similar features.
    Also, would you recommend these (in terms of audio quality) for someone who listens to genres like PostRock, Classic/Alt/Progressive Rock, Metal and use it for calling?
    Also, does OS (Android, Windows, MacOS) makes any difference in the sound quality?

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Siddharth, glad you enjoyed it. I put a lot of effort into my indepth reviews. Call quality isn't great even after they updated the firmware. It seems to come at the recipient very muffled. These do well with most genres of music but if you're a bass head it may not seem ideal. I've tested these on android and iOS devices and haven't had or noticed any differences.

    First time seen your reviews, liked the honesty.. On other channels the call quality sounds too robotic and still people are recommending them. The reason to buy them can be anc but not definitely call quality.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  2 роки тому

      Thank you Stuti. I like to leave the call quality decision upto the viewer. Sound can be a very subjective topic so I try to be as simple and transparent about my reviews. There are times when people don't agree with my opinion about how some earphones sound but that's okay. We all have our own take on sound, I just like to help people make a decision. As long as I've managed to help someone, I'm happy.

    Hello Paul, thanks for your review. You must have an issue with your dual mode cause it works flawlessly with me. I use it to connect with my computer and my phone and it's plainly functional, it only changes source if you play a sound in the one that is not active, but not at each interaction.... Regarding the glossy discutions, I cannot agree more, but there is a blue model thtat is mat. And I agree whit you: I did not expected much from these earbuds, but now it turns out that is one of my favorites because it does a lot and does it very well. The only major con for me is the lack of volume controls, can be a dealbreaker for some.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  2 роки тому

      Hey Jesmeralb, mine still seems to be stopping play back on the primary device if I interact with the secondary. It's quite strange.
      I wish they made the white version with a matte finish as well, it would have classed ot up a bit more.
      Yes, I also wish they standardized the volume control on buds these days. Terrific feature to have.

    Bought these recently and I feel that my old oppo enco w31 sound much better, although these have a lot more features and the battery life is also about 5 hrs with anc on which is decent. I would say good enough for casual listening, gaming latency is there, so dont go with these for gaming despite whatever game mode they are advertising. ANC works well, passive noise isolation isn't good, but they are extremely comfortable for long use which wasnt the case with oppo enco w31. Overall good tws for 3.5k. For audiophiles and gamers, dont go with these, you are much better with something like KZ ZSN Pro X which are about half the price and provide much better sound and no latency. Also, the blue varient has a matte finish for the case.

    Paul, I went w urs and some other ytbers’ recommendations and bought one. I’m super disappointed by the sound signature. U don’t say how dark the overall sound is and how boomy and boosted the bass is. The sound does NOT have any clarity at all, the treble is overpowered by the bass even on the balanced mode. The bright sound mode sounds horrible too for some reason they don’t really boost like the shimmery high areas but the shitty high mids and like the sibilance frequency areas. Overall thjs tws sounds like shit. And I don’t like the stereo separation too.
    I bought straight from the realme site cus the blue color was sold out on Flipkart and realme site doesn’t have returns. So now I’m stuck w a super bass heavy tws I hate.
    ANC blocks out low frequencies VERY well. But highs not at all. So yeh.
    DO NOT BUY THIS SHITTY TWS!!

      That's very odd that Realme doesn't offer any return policy. Here's a classic example of how subjective sound is from individual to individual. I did find that they sound like they aren't amped well and the bass boost and treble EQ modes aren't in anyway better than the balanced mode, which I have mentioned in my review of them.
      I would reccomend you ask Realme for a replacement at the least because I don't think these are as bad as you say for the price they're being sold at. It's possible you've gotten a faulty unit which I believe some people are getting.
      I apologies if you feel I'm at fault, my only intention is to help a viewer out who can't access these. I spend on these myself as I do not have any tie ups with any manufacturers. I hope a replacement unit suits you better than your original pair.

      @@PaulsPOV oh no Paul I don’t blame u at all. I’m sorry if it came off that way.
      The unit ain’t really faulty by normal definitions so I don’t think a replacement will be entertained by them anyway. Guess I’ll jus have to live with it.
      On my laptop I can adjust the eq to my liking and it’s not bad, on my iPhone there is no system wide eq except for the built in eq presets which suck, so here we are lmao.
      Anyways, love ur content my guy. Super underrated, hope u get big soon :).

      Thanks Mohamed. If tweaking the EQ doesn't really satisfy your audio needs and Realme won't replace or reimburse your cash, its worthwhile considering selling them to someone and using that money towards a set you'll enjoy.
      I've gotten stuck with some deals like this in the past and I realised that living with stuff that doesn't make you happy never will. Consider selling them man.
      Audio is a very personal thing to people, especially us guys who know what we want from it. I'd hate to think that you're going to be stuck with these for a while. #JustLookingOut4You
