I bought these when they were first available. How much of difference is the Celestee to the stellia? Isn't worth upgrading to the stellia? I tried also the HD 820 and I didnt like them at all. Awesome video!😊

    Thank you so much!
Im probably going to skip these.
Simply because I had the Elegia before and I hated them.
Im just so unsure if these are right for me. I need one that is good for gaming as well.

Hey :) I am still "searching" for a closed back version of the r70x or focal clear mg. Any advice ? I've tested the LCD2Closed (new Edition) and Focal Elegia so far... The Elegia has a horrible tonality (for my taste) and the LCD2Closed is a bit too bright in the treble. I just can't find any with smoother high end sound without being too analytical and a good base response. The r70x is still by far the best headphone for my personal taste, and I have tested A LOT of headphones. I own the HD600, HD650, HD660S, Focal Clear + Clear MG and I have tested like almoste the whole HiFiman Range (included the arya and ananda), a lots of Beyerdynamic headphones and so on... maybe the LDC X Closed (new edition?) but I assume, they will be even brighter than the LCD2Closed...

Based on what you are saying, the four that come to mind for that thicker, smoother tone to try would be: Beyerdynamic T5 Gen 3, DCA Aeon 2 Closed and Focal Stellia.

It depends on what you like / don't like about the Celestee! I prefer the Stellia, but I wouldn't say it sounds 2x / 3x better for 2x /3x the price. For some customers, the improvements would be worth the extra cost. Of course this depends on your personal budget ;) Thanks for your kind words! - Lachlan

@@MinidiscAu I'm looking for close backed heaphones. Do the stellia have a wider soundstage?

@@thelonepainter4760 I have the Celestee and put on the Dekoni Stellia Pads on them. They give you a little more bass and also a larger sound stage, and actually are more comfortable to me. I enjoy them.
