Buy bags you can keep on using, because paper bags can tear if they get wet! What also works is a backpack, because it keeps your hands free.

Actualy the bakfiets also had moped engines on them starting in the mid 60s and 70s . the electirc motor stuff is just e further development.

I wish the Philippines would have more bikes. After moving from Germany to Mindanao i really think the traffic would be so much better but it's almost impossible to buy good bikes and then they are more expensive then a good 2nd hand motorbike. It's just sad. I remember when in China everyone had bikes in the 1980s.
