Tilder Moyo-Karizamimba is a Zimbabwean radio personality who is well known for tackling sensitive social issues. She made a name for herself at Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC)'s Radio Zimbabwe where she hosted a no-holds barred Sunday morning talk show which touched on various social issues. Some of the controversial issues that the programme has dealt with include those of satanists, child prostitutes, victims of rape and business people who use juju to enrich themselves. It was a phone-in programme and many a times perpetrators and victims called in airing their views and experiences making it worthwhile for the audiences to tune in. This guy does not need AA, he needs to be told to go out and get friends. Drinking a lot like he is doing is not an addiction coz he can actually go for days without drinking. The drinking excessively over the weekend shows that he is bored alone come weekends. He just needs friends to hang around come weekends. This is a challenge now in the diaspora but I think that was supposed to be the starting point of a solution
@danairedi2051 you may be right...however, not all people like friends. I don't- I am a typical introvert. If I was a drinker, I would drink at home like this guy.
@@ROGUE406 I totally get you from the point of being an introvert. But as someone who drinks, the moment you see someone drinking that much alone it becomes worrying. One introvert to another (and based on a few sample of people consulted), once we drink I a little we then need company. It doesn’t need to be 10 people but even just 1 person to laugh with is enough

The alcohol guy is what is called a functional alcoholic. There are variations to the term, and his is one of it. The advice he was given is good so he doesn’t go cold turkey. He also needs to develop a healthy social life and possibly join AA just to tidy up his drinking.
First caller ari lonely uyu. If he was drinking with friends the drinking could have been social and he would never drink 1 litre. He should be encouraged to have friends or a few people to hang around so that he doesn't go all out like this. Drinking is a mechanism most use to fill the void of being away from home but hazvizode uri wega coz you will end up like this.
