John Chapman is insanely good, and very humble about it too. Him and JP being able to pull that stuff out just off the cuff, takes alot of skill. JP is a machine, but John is too.
It would be awesome to see a breakdown of this video, where John and JP talk about their thinking and what they were trying to do in terms of theory/sound throughout the song. It would give us great insight :)
I really hope you guys get to interview J.P. on your podcast. He is one of the best acoustic players alive, an amazing song writer and a hell of a story teller as well. Fingers crossed. I wish i had a shop and a community like yours near me..
As John said earlier, he feels like he's keeping up. Did these two terrorize every guitar booth at the Fretboard whoop-de-do? Did you do a TAS nose with JP yet? Sounds like it would be a possibility. Thanks
So glad to hear that. JP is a phenomenal player and a super good dude. I would encourage everyone to check out JP Cormier's UA-cam channel as well. Thanks for the great videos!
I mean absolutely no disrespect to JP but the way he seats the guitar on his leg looks very uncomfortable...then again I am 5'3 so not exactly a big guy...No offense JP.
2 guys that play the guitar like it owes them money, what a joy it'd be to have a beer and a jam with these legends
I like John always being smiling and happy!
Two outstanding pickers, WOW!!! Keep on smiling.
Two of the best pickers U ever seen or heard! Period. Making them Gallagher's sing! 👍👍👋👋👋👋👋🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎😎😎😎😎

Nice job to both, John definitely can hang w/ JP!! That's saying a lot!!
He's great, he didn't win the 2002 SPBGMA Guitar Player of the Year title for nothing 😅
@@TheGuitarsquatch I was getting ready to say the same thing. These guys have both been masters for a long, long time. I would pay money to see them.
@@greenfinmusic5142 Me too!

Great idea, maybe one day!
JC....I credit that pained expression in keeping pace with JP. It worked.
These are your gold metalists of music. Such fine musicians!

That is definitely in the works, we're excited to work with JP on many more projects. Thank you for the kind words, visit us if you get the chance!
Yes sir! Love both of these players. Smokin playing gents. Wow!
