after putting in around 200 premier games i went from 3.7k to now 14k. Heres some things I've noticed: Before 10k the amount of points you gain for wins is quite big. It can stack up to 800 from my experience. WHen hitting 10k things become more different. Rank lost can stack on a lossstreak to -500. With each win after that -300, -200 and back to -100. Then you can build up to +200 or +300. Havent gotten more than 360 points for a win after 10k. It sometimes differs when the boost comes in to play. sometimes one game, sometimes 2 or 3. If you want to avoid losing rank, dont abbandon games. Very nice video btw!

Hurray for sub-tick. So yeah, the player base is now split between veterans like me who have a hard time adjusting and newbs who don't realize how bad the game is because they have no reference to compare it to. But they're newbs nonetheless. One thing both groups have in common is they don't play that well. Things will improve as more veterans will adjust and more newbs will learn the game, but for now it's not a great experience.
The dumbest thing is losing points on a draw, i dont get how they thought that makes sense or is a fair system. They should retune the point system aswell cause losing/gaining points is not consistent u can win multiple games in a row and start gaining less points but if u lose 1 game on a win streak u will lose more points than you gain.
Losing matchmaking points in draw matches has existed since CSGO, it's only more noticeable now that we have a transparent ranking system. I finished a match in a draw once in GO and deranked lol didn't complain for a bit.
@kadaver1n yeah GO had a hidden mmr system like valorant does now except valorants actually worked and boosted you to the deserved rank whilst valve does the opposite and deranks you down despite performing well.

Because at the start of cs2 i got ranked 2k Elo, after months of not playing my rank is expired after i started playing again i got put in 15k Elo lobby (i lost) the second game i got placed in a 11-15k lobby which i won and got ranked 11k. At the start of CS2 i won 10 games and lost 2 and i have 2k hours.

The same thing happened in CSGO. The rule is that if you play less, the system is worse at determining your exact rating.
I played solo and got 16,634. I played the remaining 2 recently because I had played the rest long ago. I was Distinguished Master Guardian in CS:GO. I don't remember my W/L stats during the placements.
I’d like to add I’ve been global for awhile and have played around 30 premier games now.. currently ranked at 16k and I really don’t feel like I’m in a global game at all, perhaps it is closer to 18k ish
Got like 39 won matches and 11 lost, currently on 19k one match to 20k, i see so me players with gold skills still, this rating is so broken, people that don't even know one single smoke on mirage bruh...
when I was on 7k rating I got the plus of 360 points but as soon as I hit 7.4k I got only 160 points plus and getting 250 points minus can anyone explain why it's like that? why I am not getting 300 plus on wins?
csgo global lvl10 faceit, was LITERALLY heavy carry all placements, got placed 3.5k, now im up to 20k but games are still easy you can tell theres some gold mfs in these lobbies

Sorry man, I played 11 games lost 1 won 10 and got 13,684. The players didn’t seem good either, so I don’t think saying 15K global is correct.

You actually gain some points if you draw first, and lose points if you draw 2nd (team playing catch up). But yes still odd to lose points on a draw.
