same.. Was listening to Widek when I saw Paul's name in a song.. was like ahh yeah I member that song where he shreds like a god and was like yeap that one 🤘🤘
Damn, I just discovered 2 stellar players tonight, this guy and Angel Vivaldi. I am 52 and I remember there was quite a bit of instrumental rock guitar back in the 80's. Then came grunge of the 90's and lead guitar disappeared for a while, It slowly started working it's way back in. But still no instrumental players like Satriani, Vai, Yngwie . Glad it's coming back around. It helps keep the standards for rock guitar high, and that is where they should always be
Found vivaldi last night, and paul today, it looks like they're getting accidental cross promotion because of youtube's algorithm. Both of them are awesome.
youtube is pretty sweet with grouping related artists. sad to say it's how i find most of my music now-a-days. check out Intervals too...that guy is an exceptional guitarist
absolutely unbelievable! I have been listening on repeat for days, and I still can't wrap my head around the perfect harmony on top of the perfect melody. #futuremetal!"
My friend Olaf picked up all your albums for me last Christmas and even got you sign some of them and send some picks too. I was completely blown away. Can't thank him enough. Wanted to thank you too. That was awesome. You are one of my favorite modern shred guitarists. The scale choices, rhythms, and face-melting tech is out of this world. You are pushing the boundaries of what this instrument can do and I love it. :)
@@adeptusmechanicus1029 That's like me saying that your car is shit, and you answering with "then build a better one". Which is obviously stupid. He is a really good guitarist but certainly not beyond human lol. Check out Berried Alive for crazy shit.
An absolute masterpiece. You have such a brilliant tone. The riffs, melodies, and synth, are all beautifully done, you've inspired me and influenced my playing greatly. I wish you the best of luck with your playing and hope that you continue to make such incredible music.
I don't know how I'm just now seeing this. I've listened to it like 3 times in a row now. It's definitely one of my favorite instrumental guitar tracks eve!
Paul Wardingham always exceeds in creativity where most other guitarists fall short. I remember listening through Assimilate Regenerate and being blown away by at least 10 techniques I have never heard before in metal. Paul clearly makes his own rules. Looking forward to another album rich in inspiration!
This man has always made me cry at how amazing his songwriting and guitar skills are. It's usually one or the other. He is complete. He wrote in his Assimilate Regenerate CD-preorder message to me "Dear Rob, thanks for your support." No Paul, thank you. Thank. You.
Everyone loves your shredding, and for good reason. But your choruses (for lack of a better term) are what inspire me most. In all my searching I have never found another artist who makes me feel the same way I do for sections like 1:31, or the 'choruses' in your other work (Earth 2.0, Prophecy, and Futureshock are standouts for sure). I still can't believe how underrated you are after all this time. I only hope one day I can write music half as good as this!
This music is like all my favorite foods EVER, wrapped in a sci fi burrito with extra post apocalyptic sauce and washed down with all my favorite beers. So basically I love it more than anything new ever. Thanks Paul for existing.
WOW, this is more than a single, this is an EXPERIENCE! So much of this BLEEDS epicness like nothing ever before, I'm not quite sure how its possible, but you've improved over assimilate regenerate which still holds as my favorite album of all time. also the imagery in this is leagues better than anything i could've prepared myself for, so much fluid flowing groovy cinematic power in one song it boggles my mind. after hearing this and keeping the few snippets from "digital apocalypse" and "day of the droids" theres little doubt in my mind this will be one of the best albums ever. seriously, all of this is well BEYOND HUMAN! i can't wait for the full album.
Paul Wardingham thank YOU for being such an inspirational musician. i wouldn't be half the guitarist i am now if i never four your stuff are you going to do a lick from each song like last time cause merely attempting some of those helped me immensely.
