I remember one of the best dancers I've ever seen dancing to this back one cold Saturday night/Sunday morning in march 1993, at a club called Henry's which was notoriously rough in a city in northern England. She was actually a librarian and would be 45-50 now, amazing how individual events can stay with you for ever..
Beautiful arrangement !! I was a boy when this song was recorded in 1973 by Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes and was very successful at that time. I remember that my father (RIP) played a lot in his rehearsals as a "home DJ". I miss that time very much. The world seemed happier. Congratulations on the interpretation and the remix that was made. They were great and much more dancing, highlighting the richness of styles and musical taste typical of the 90's.
The music out there just hasnt been the same since we have heard all these Great Singers like Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, Diane Ross..and so many more .their voices was pure Gold..It was for me a sad day when Motown studios closed down in Detroit..they did move to somewhere else for a while..wasnt it Diane Ross hubby that owned it then.... but as far as I'm concerned Soul & Motown still lives in my life..🤩🤗
