Spent 5 years behind a wheel lift and that Eagle bed on a 2000 f550 was sweet and fun for my first years of towing because when you are in a rush you can slam the forks down slide under the vehicle pick it up and never have to get out out the truck
Get the 2021 F450 with the 12 ft 6 inch flat bed.. Great for towing with.. The Black seats with red trim is bad ass.. Put it up on some 37s to 40s would be just about right.. Do the Dark Grey or Flat Black Color..

Not bad on the tow truck......I didn't do repo....it not fun as you think. I did toe and recovery. Not much challenge. Live out in country where cars are down ravines, upside down or stuck in a tree. Watch you all the time. Congratulations on the new house.
That’s an Eagle Claw! It needs to be extended out more!!!!! The wheel lift as it is brought in closer to the truck locks and folds up so to tow you need to lower “the claw” and extend it at least 5 inches so it has room to swing as it turns. Also the straps hold the claw open so you don’t lose the car as your going down the try road. It’s spring loaded!!!
You have to remove that bar in the claw that's for small tires like 13 and 14 inch tires to remove that bar and it will swing right up underneath the two front tires
Those wheels are dollies and therefore all wheel drive vehicles because tires that are all wheel drive have to spend at the same time you cannot lift them up and have two wheels off the ground and drag that you will blow up your transfer case says dollies are for rear tires of all-wheel drive and 4 wheel drive vehicles
Brian should buy Chris a new bike. I would be super pissed if someone wrecked my new bike. If i wrecked someones bike, I would offer to buy it, or at least fix it back to 100% with factory or exact replacement parts.
Ahhh yes the o’l repo game did it for about 5.5 years snatch blocks are perfect,the Lexus IS either Rwd or Awd but either way the dolly’s come in handy especially for this repo game lol never disappoints lol
That's a minute man lift which doesn't have the best claws to use. It's a perfect wheel lift for that truck since there the old school/ style of tow trucks. The newer wheel lifts are much easier to use and back up. I drove a tow truck for 8 years doing ppi, wrecks, and repos.
If I had to bet I'd say the F150 will get the updated interior for 21, then you may have to wait until 22 for it to hit the HD trucks. Hopefully not it would make sense for them to update all the trucks at once but thats not how they did it last time
Those pumps are pretty common in agriculture check out hydrabed out of Sabatha Kansas they just come with an ac compressor electric clutch you can put them on anything up to brand new and power anything just like a pto
Modern trucks are so much easier to operate then this. I prefer running my flat bed as far as light duty trucks go but can definitely put in work on a wheel lift truck

Just buy a carb rebuild kit for it and possibly a new throttle cable, those two things should be pretty cheap.
