This. Was. OUTSTANDING. Not only was the music good but the lyrics were exceptionally well written! So was the story! I know how difficult it is to create something from scratch, and the nerves that follow when it comes to sharing it, but this was incredible!! It shows just how talented you are!! I was waiting for the climax of the story, and it was as heartbreaking and stunning as I expected it to be, even though I knew it was coming. Poor guy, really. Vox has all this power, but no matter what strength he has, he will always be trapped under Valentino's heel. Vox has control over so much, but the one thing he doesn't have control over is what he does with Val. Bravo and amazing work as always, DJ!! Thanks again for letting me be part of this!
Great art Ninja! You nailed Vox's expressions throughout the song. And like how Val's on the distorted monitor. He truly is always watching. 👀 Round of applause to the both of ya 😊
Val still probably is abusive towards vox. Hence vox being annoyed and upset he had to deal with vals tantrum and how valentino broke voxs phone in a scene
Yeah, in a way while most of DJ Paranoid's songs have aged like wine so far, this one has been rather mixed. Sure, the parts where he shows control over all screens is accurate, the relationship with Valentino has aged a bit like sour milk. So far, they seem more like villains in an alliance, aka evil business partners who know how to keep each other under control AND annoy the crap out of each other more than anything. Still a great song, though, just one that hasn't held up to lore and characterization very well (However, if things change down the road in the show and the alliance goes south between them and it does get abusive in some form, I'll be willing to come back and admit where I'm wrong).
@@kinghyperheart1571 I think its still accurate since valentino is shown to be throwing stuff at vox in the show and nearly hitting him. Like voxs phone and the wine glass he was holding
I love how the song starts out like “Look I’m so powerful and rich” and ends in “I’m in a toxic abusive relationship with a psychopath who is manipulating and gaslighting me help”
Is it weird that I feel bad for Vox even though he's a horrible person? Because even though Vox is the most evil person in hell, I believe that he deserves better than Val. I also believe that Vox can change his ways if he tried. 🤔😟🙂😊
I think that Vox isn’t the most evil person in hell, there’s Lucifer and Val in there and he cant beat them in an evil competition. Also, I definitely think no one deserves to ever have to deal with Val, poor Vox.
Despite the fact that Val and Vox's relationship turns out to be more leaning towards Vox in terms of control, I love the fact that this still gets Vox's general role in Hell absolutely spot-on, what with him able to hypnotize and control others via his screens.
I find that very interesting! Especially how needy Val turned out in the series. Vox's attention, Angel's attention ... it's a take on the self-professed maker of addicts I like. He wishes they loved him, but they don't. Fanon Val also wouldn't be loved, but Series Val is in pain about it, and he takes it out on his employees.
@MoonShadowWolfe Good points. Honestly, I do like that about canon Val, as he's still absolutely despiseable with how he treats Angel, but he's still a person with his own insecurities. In no way does it make what he does forgivable, but it does make him more complex as a character.
Val still probably is abusive towards vox. Hence vox being annoyed and upset he had to deal with vals tantrum and how valentino broke voxs phone in a scene
Kinda disappointed about it, because not only does Valentino not deserve happiness, but other than Angeldust we could of been shown another character suffering by the hands of Valentino
I think it's two early to judge as it's clear to me that vox had to do a lot to get val to do something reasonable, the way I see it val if he's set off Enough could deflect to abusing Vox (and because of the might and image of the 3 vs he's likely to not fight back and keep it secret because of the same image he used to manipulate Val in episode 2)
What kind of sticks out to me most with Valentino abusing Vox is that it was stated by Vivzie that Vox is the STRONGEST of the three V's and Valentino is the weakest. Really goes to show just how an abusive relationship can leave you trapped more psychologically than physically.
@@v8sOnlyBIGBOY So I'm just gonna ask this as I've only seen the various Animated Content. Who the fuck is Valentino? What Demon Lord, or circle of power does he control? Cause in various Media, not sure which is canon, but he apparently is feared by like fucking EVERYONE, Even Stolas a Demon Prince who by rights should be head and shoulders above him in power, status, etc. Seems to genuinely fear him. The only person who DOESN'T seem to Fear him is Alastor, and for some reason even Val seems terrified of him, trying to Use Angel Dust to try and get some kind of weakness, or dirt on him... Is that his power or some shit? Anyone he has 'leverage over' immediately becomes powerless before him? Cause he REALLY doesn't seem that hard to just fucking shoot in the head and as Hellva Boss has shown, that shit will still work on Demon Lord's just fine, and even Demonic Royalty can be brought down with the RIGHT kind of gun, so seriously WHY is Val this end all badass that everyone but Alastor seem to be utterly helpless before despite their power being at least SHOULD be comparable/close enough to not really have to just tremble and be knocked around?
3:23 I absolutely love that little "Mh?" Vox makes when Valentino calls him; it's clear Vox was so into what he was doing, feeling powerful and cool and all, that he doesn't immediately connect the voice to Valentino and that to being in trouble
"I'm the one who killed the radio" if that is reference to "who killed the radio star" that's genius. Also the wordplay with you belong to "V" being Vox but actually Valentino is really smart
Val still probably is abusive towards vox. Hence vox being annoyed and upset he had to deal with vals tantrum and how valentino broke voxs phone in a scene
This song gives me something I liked out of Addict, and Hazbin/Hellovaboss in general. The theme of "trouble in paradise". These are all bad people, and upon coming to hell, they're free to indulge in any sadistic and sinful desires that could cross their minds. They seem happy to be there, with no rules or limitations... But it's not that simple. it's never that simple. Angel dust being abused sexually. Vox being physically abused by a lover, and held under control, despite the amount of power he holds. This is what this world gives me. The shivers, the pain... As Alastor says. "The purest kind of entertainment; Reality!" People are complex, in life as well as in death. Beautiful in all their faults... all their cracks. Love the song, DJ, looking forward to more.
I like how it consolidates the two seemingly contradictory statements of how Christianity describes Hell. It’s a “Sinners Paradise” and a “Pit of suffering” and from what little we’ve seen it’s successfully managed to be both.
For new demons it seems like a paradise beacuse anyone can do anything, but later they realize that it's actually a neverending chaos of pain because _anyone_ can do anything.
You can either go to magical place where you evolve past the need for earthly pleasures, but are also surrounded by pure souls, or you can go to an anarchist inferno where you can do whatever you wish without punishment, but are also surrounded by horrible people
@@TheReapersSilentMessenger Okay, you made this comment a month ago, which means there's a 99% chance you already watched the show. So how do you still have the impression that Val owns Vox after seeing their dynamic in ep 2?
i love how a character who was in the pilot for like 2 seconds is seen by most in community and now it aged well, since vox and the other vees are now included to the show
if we did it wont be for a long long time since the show hasnt come out yet. Once it does and we get to hear the actual voice it would be more likely. But there is also a chance it wont happen at all since we dont know the true feelings of Vox and Val. The only reason we know they date is because of the now empty instagram accounts. But that is blissful thinking.
My personal headcanon of Vox's relationship with Valentino is that he doesn't keep going back to Val out of some twisted Stockholm Syndrome, or even love. He keeps going back because he wants to catch Val in a trap, eventually. He wants to discover evidence of Val's wrongdoing that even the likes of Lucifer can't ignore. Vox, in other words, is playing a long game, and he's willing to suffer greatly for it. That all aside: this is a masterpiece, and I love the stark contrast between the regular part of the song and the minor-key reprise. I wanna give Vox a hug. Is that unusual?
I think the reason why Vox keeps going back to Val is because...well,they're allies and alliance between two powerful Overlords make great power and great teaming up with their forces united. To be honest i feel like Vox and Val's relationship is less of them being lovers and more of them being fuck buddies,if you get what i mean.
It is not weird to want to give him a hug, I have wanted to hug him since I saw the voxtagram stories ;-;. Those Instagram posts are literally the only reason vox is my favorite character.
Anyone else really impressed with the touch of having his screens fuzzed out while he's confident and in control, but when his charisma slips they're clear and you can see Val and the work that Vox is doing? That's a real nice touch.
Love how you made Vox in this. Here we have an overlord with immense power and basically in control of al media in hell. Not a nice guy by any means as he talks about manipulating and selling people back their weaknesses for a fee. But then that ending demonstrating even he has a weakness, that being the abuse at the hands of the ‘monster he loves’. Great work as usual DJ
That's sounds like real life media tycoon, which are also something else tyccon outside of owning media. I also think about social media tycoon and GAFAM monopoly over social media and acces to information. Vox seems to be linked with a lot of real real-life issue.
This is surprisingly good and gives a new dimension to Vox as a character. This may not be the direction for the character in Hazbin Hotel but it shows how they can develop the character. You also point out a good point; If Valentino is abusive towards Angel Dust then you would think he is abusive towards Vox as well. Amazing song, Great work
@@laurabliek2474 I think they'rr refering to the instagram stuff - although it's not canon, I think there's probably some truth in it, seeing as it was official in some way-
I’m just thinking about how painful the would be for vox, that’s basically like having your skull cracked and having your brain damaged because you can hear sparking like some wires are cut kinda like how damaged nerves may randomly activate and electrically pulse
Am I the only one who noticed this song is similar to 'Poison' song? Because at the end of the song, Angel Dust sounds like he was crying and Vox sounds like he was kinda sad or something (I don't know)
The way this voice is basically the closest voice to the canon voice actor in show. Everyone else thought he sounded WAAYYY different. But this is literally the closest to the voice actor lmfao
The way this song changed and morphed throughout to bring out an actual story was incredible! Dubstep makes sense for Vox, but I VIBING with that Future Bass chorus!! And then the slow, sad final stanza was what really made this feel like a Hazbin song. Beautiful.
So Angel isn't the only one who also suffering, I feel bad for Vox. Seriously Valentino if you hurt Angel and Vox in any way I'm gonna make you regret the day you ever became an overlord >:( This was a heartbreaking and stunning as I expected it to be, even though I knew it was coming.
I think maybe one of biggest differences between Angel and Vox in terms of their relationship with Val is that (like you said) Vox has the power to leave Val, problem is he seems to be too in love with him to leave. Whereas, Angel makes it very clear how much he hates Val, however he doesn't have the power or strength to leave Val.
I had a thought go through my head where in a unusual occurence, Vox has finally had enough and basically electrocutes Valentino with a near fatal Tesla coil discharge and then locks him in a Faraday cage surrounded by hundreds of Tesla Coils each capable of killing him a thousand times over. And better yet with Val out of the picture he burns Angel's contract and takes over and revamps the Porn Studios into his new citadel.
I heard somewhere that Vox actually sympathizes with Angel Dust as they both get abused by Val,i don't know if this is actually true though but i like that idea.
It feels so in tune with the canon story. It's amazing and I'm already addicted. I feel like a rollercoaster: you get strapped in and just keep going higher until that drop and soft return to reality. I like how you flesh Vox out here. He becomes larger than life, however you still see a human side to him. The broken screen speaks volumes, it tells such a deep and different story than what we think is happening at a glance. Vox isn't stupid, yet he stays chained to him. Love is a cruel, and fickle mistress. This fandom has such complex and layered characters, I spend my days living in this beautiful mess, thinking about it all day. I want so much more.
Given that Val got his way in the end by being an emotional abuser? Ehhh', they're both manipulative and shitty to each other. Witholding information and using it as a beneficial weapon is something abusers do, and that's what Val did to Vox -- he kept the info of Alastor to himself until he needed to use it to get his way. Vox said no to going to the Hotel, but now he's going to want to to get at Al. So. Two way street.
I absolutely love how the music video includes the last part where we see him being abused by Val and then the last of the lyrics come on “so I’ll keep a tight control of what they can see” “They’ll never gaze behind the mask of cracks on the screen” “ *his* dominion *his* opinion is the only one key” and so on. In the official song (not the video) that last part with Val is removed making it a lot more emotional it’s a really good detail and it was honestly pretty smart for you to do that
Watching this for like...the third time, I can see the comparison to Addict in this song. The first half is the confidence, the power that he's demonstrating, and he drops subtle hints about Val. In the reprise at the end, he shows his true feelings, and the abusive snippet with Val solidifies that. The fact the Angel and Vox are being abused by the SAME PERSON also adds a powerful reflection of these two. Awesome, as always.
The amount of money Vox had to pay for all the times Val broke his TV. Val uses his power for Val, but if it goes on as planned (according to Val), Vox has to pay for another screen.
Well if he’s anything like an iPad then all that needs replacing is the digitizer if his LCD panel was dented then he would be display stripes and lines
It's almost like the moth and flame dynamic, which is ironic seeing as Val's the moth demon and Vox has electricity-related powers, yet he's the one burning.... You know what....that makes sense. Their 'relationship' doomed from the start. Hm. I bet it took him a while to realize _he_ was the moth, not the flame.
It's funny. Vox is so much stronger than Val, but he's a prisoner to him all the same due to his affections. Really hope we get a dynamic like this in the series.
This almost made me cry... The sounds of Val and Vox scuffling brought back some bad memories to me and I felt Vox's pain. Especially at the end when he said: "No one will know that I Belong to V". That felt like a bullet to the chest. He still loves Val even after all of the crap he puts him through. I get they're in Hell but no one deserves this. Not Vox, Not Angel, not Anyone! Vox... 💕

He who controls information controls the world. Despite his immense power and potential, he's still susceptible to those even hungrier and more manipulative. Excellent work as always, DJ
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SOLELY BECAUSE IT GIVES IN MORE DEPTH ABOUT THE SITUATION-- We know it's abusive and toxic but never really got that feel based on how others portray them and hearing the turn from confidence and pride to utter anguish and heartache? Just heartbreaking if you do ever consider expanding, consider going through Velvet's view of the situation? No one really touches on her in the way they do Vox, Val and Angel when it comes to characters and her POV would be interesting
Is he afraid of her?! If so does that mean a future alliance between Vaux and velvet.....that would be so cool if they worked together to take down Val
@@laurenmckenzie9369 she's apparently the strongest out of the 3 and most unhinged so, safe to say Valentino fears her to some extent but isn't worried since she's childlike in nature and views the two as her parents. I think it might actually come to her going to aid Vox if she's told everything since Vox is the main one to take care of her and keep her in line while Valentino uses her like an attack dog and promotional creator.
I think Vox also kinda shows an interesting foil to Angel in terms of their relationship with Val. They both seem to be very aware of how abusive Val is but the big difference is that while Angel hates him, he doesn't have the strength or power to escape Val. Meanwhile Vox is implied to have equal, if not, more power than Val but is too in love with him to escape.
@@oliviamorales9406 Velvet doesn't understand nor get it, he's a lot gentler with her with the worst thing he's ever done is tell her that her cookies suck and it was out of spite. If she's got more power than the both of them, it's in his best interest to manipulate her view just in case that it comes down to Vox actually turning.
The idea that the manifestation of visual media is in an abusive relationship with the manifestation of pornography is solid gold from Vivzie, and Paranoid DJ has made a cool song about it. The VCR made the porn industry VERY lucrative in the '80's, and has been exploiting all manner of visual media ever since, so Valentino does owe most of their power to Vox. This song is a great addition to the VivzieVerse.
Your Vox is literally so perfect!! And your Val! He's so sinister! Didn't think there'd be fanwork that would make my heart shatter for Vox but here I am in tears 🙃 (Funny enough I watched this on a cracked screen)
Man… I have to say this interpretation of Vox has so much depth that could have been explored had it been canon. I mean, these characters actually seem like they’re in Hell and in need of redemption from a perpetual cycle of abuse, and the emotional complexity is more compelling to me than the canon, to be honest.

The ending is just like Addict’s. The whole time Angel and Vox put up a fake face, acting happy as hell until they have a breakdown at the end because of Valentino *♾️/10, love your music*
I LOVE THIS! Vox is actually my favorite character, and i love that you came up with a way for him to have a reason to be evil because i love vox💙👾 And the end had me wanting to hug him
it's funny to see now that the firsts episodes of hazbin hotel came out that their relation is more equal and it's more likely Vox who keep an eye on Val x)
Val is one of if not my favorite character. A perfectly sinister, manipulative and the best embodiment of a demon. Every other character has a comedic or pleasant side that shows some area of a lighter side and morals. Val has none and that’s why I think he’s the best portrayal of a real demon. Your channel is the reason I favor him besides his design. The voice, portrayal and performance you display is most enjoyable. Thank you for the awesome content.
I’m totally with you. If all the characters seem perfectly redeemable then why are we in hell? I feel like having a demon like Val who other demons are afraid of makes him that much cooler. We need more of that.
@@mycupcakegamer7235 I like him because he represents just evil and is completely evil in all he does. There’s no merciful or remorseful side that makes him look relatable to the audience. It makes him hated by everyone and helps him serve his role as antagonist. Plus design is 👌 ngl
@@Llamachick2 that’s the point, heaven in the show is probably corrupt given what we saw from cherubs in helluva boss. In their world, it doesn’t matter if you could be good, you did something bad and now you’re in hell, a place that actively encourages your toxic traits.
DJ, the amount of time, effort, & dedication you put into for this character, to write an original song about Vox is absolutely incredible & inspiring.🖥⚡️The lyrics & beats speak to me about his current afterlife situation. Song was beautifully done, once again you’ve graced us with another masterpiece!✨💕🎧🎶
God, this sent chills down my spine! The hell of a bop (no pun intended) for the majority of the song leading to Val and Vox's dialogue before ending with a softer, more of a melancholy like tone (which we heard ever so briefly in the song itself) that nearly mimics the reprise of ADDICT. But sadly for Vox: there is no "hotel" for him to go to, there is no place where he could go to and call it "home". He signed the deal with a devil of lust and manipulation and torture - the first deal that Val has ever even made if we are in theory territory - that he can't get out of, even if he does go to double Hell.
The thing is, Vox is one of the most powerful characters in the entire series, and one of it’s main antagonists. The most likely reason (in theory territory) that he doesn’t just beat Val to a pulp until he stops torturing him psychologically, is because he’s attempting to maintain an obviously toxic relationship. He chose someone that was as depraved and level-headed as he was, and they’re both fighting to be “the bigger man.”
Coming back to this this aged like sorta fine wine, spot on with how Vox controls the internet in the Pride Ring and can see and hear everything you do, and the relationship between vox and val are kinda swapped, vox is the one running the entire gig and val is just the one most people think has the power but actually doesn't in a way.
You really are a jack of all trades, singing, voice acting, composing, sound design, the only thing you need is animation and you could do an entire show on your And to the song, man this is an absolute banger, if you don't count the little scene in the middle of the song, it explains Vox perfectly without context, amazing job Dj. Lastly, you may hear this a lot, but I think this should be animated, Viv won't animate every single fan song of Hazbin, but this really should be animated.
I love the stories you weave into the songs, whether it be a cover or original music. I was jamming pretty good and then Val comes along and fucks things up as per usual in your songs. Giving emotions into characters that people are meant to hate. You truly do have a talent for music and story telling and I'm really glad I happened across your videos. They inspire me to do more. As always amazing work DJ 💖
I just... I have no words. The lyrics and the story... this is literally a masterpide and I know I have said this for every song you did but considering that this is an original piece I am amazed. I really have no words, congratulations for this work!
"pay up motherfuckers you belong to V" I love that line so much! It really shows that all the people that work for Val have to pay their end of the deal if they wanna be safe.
It's so interesting coming back to listen to this and realize part of it is so goddamn close to canon and other things are, well, the complete opposite. Vox absolutely has power and the "eyes on me" works with him perfectly. And then there's the fact that Vox, in this song, is implied to be abused by Val and is inferior to him somehow when in canon it's kinda the opposite - or at the very least, Val doesn't seem to be abusive towards Vox at all and Vox isn't remotely "scared" of Val in any way. Really interesting to see both the similarities and differences. Either way, this song is still a massive favorite of mine, close to canon or not. Gonna be interesting to see if Paranoid DJ will make new songs that match the new, canon dynamic in the future :D
The lyrics were really good. The instrumentals I'm not one for that genre of music personally but I really can appreciate the artistry that went into it. Especially from scratch. The ending....hit me harder than I wish to admit. I had my own Valentino and it killed me inside. Dating a public figure bigger than you who can not only control your image but someone who doesn't want you to reveal the abuse you go through and in turn has you put on a mask around people....it's destroying. Even two years after escaping my Valentino, who I'll call Fox....I cried at the end lyrics. I'm still crying. This is beautiful...thank you.
@@itzjazthefox1629 they did confirm they were in an on and off relationship in a recent livestream so it isn't as impossible as it seems. They are just in the "good" phase rn I'd bet

@@somebodyoncetoldme4640 Yeah, I think Vox puts up with it bc he's more powerful

You're Goddam Right, More Techno House for Hell's Sake
And yet mnay fan think hell s=is cool
I like how it consolidates the two seemingly contradictory statements of how Christianity describes Hell. It’s a “Sinners Paradise” and a “Pit of suffering” and from what little we’ve seen it’s successfully managed to be both.
For new demons it seems like a paradise beacuse anyone can do anything, but later they realize that it's actually a neverending chaos of pain because _anyone_ can do anything.

@@cartooncritique6625 I’m not sure they could do THAT, since that song doesn’t technically belong to them.
I'm actually working on animating my best version to something in the line so-
My personal headcanon of Vox's relationship with Valentino is that he doesn't keep going back to Val out of some twisted Stockholm Syndrome, or even love.

This is surprisingly good and gives a new dimension to Vox as a character. This may not be the direction for the character in Hazbin Hotel but it shows how they can develop the character.
@@oliviamorales9406 Your right but sometimes I wish with all my heart they both have the will and power to leave Val for good.
Val did love Angel, just in a manipulative way you know.. Like those creepy S&M films
5:12 even if Val isn’t as much of an abuser towards Vox I really feel this line can still stand
I really like the connection between Vox controlling the flow of information with technology and hiding the abusive relationship he's stuck in.
Considering the new Hazbin episode, I am pretty sure Vox is the one on top of Val.
To the guy's credit, all prior hints where that Val was the dominant one. Episode 2 really took us by surprise.
Well vox and Val are two different flavors of abuse. Val is physical and sexual. Vox is emotional and mental.
I hate Valentino so much
@@kaitlynnmccabe Then you've come to the right place my friend :)
I absolutely love how the music video includes the last part where we see him being abused by Val and then the last of the lyrics come on
“so I’ll keep a tight control of what they can see”
“They’ll never gaze behind the mask of cracks on the screen”
“ *his* dominion
*his* opinion is the only one key” and so on. In the official song (not the video) that last part with Val is removed making it a lot more emotional it’s a really good detail and it was honestly pretty smart for you to do that
I know that in canon it's actually Angel Dust who is in the position of this song, but I do still like this version of Vox

That was a fucking BOP! You did an outstanding job with this, and I totally was not expecting Val to come in at the end. Seriously, you did AMAZING.
I swear, this song is like a drug. It's so addictive.
Fr😊
The background music gives me brain tingles
paranoid dj's valentino is absolutely terrifying
Da real ones even more tho...
HES BALD😭😭😭😭
Your Vox is literally so perfect!! And your Val! He's so sinister! Didn't think there'd be fanwork that would make my heart shatter for Vox but here I am in tears 🙃
(Funny enough I watched this on a cracked screen)
Omg same. My phone has some cracks in it XD
Bro same
Hey watched this through a cracked screen too ;D
Can someone pls tag al we need him to take him Valentino out pls🙏🤞
Same ;D
“So pay up mf’s you belong to V”

Or maybe vivziepop 😂
How to make a perfect advertisement 🤣
I did Not expect to cry in that one, but how proud and strong he is and then Val shows up and LITERALY Breaks him... 💔 Poor Vox...
Man… I have to say this interpretation of Vox has so much depth that could have been explored had it been canon. I mean, these characters actually seem like they’re in Hell and in need of redemption from a perpetual cycle of abuse, and the emotional complexity is more compelling to me than the canon, to be honest.
Well, this song aged interestingly. Especially the ending.

This city's but one of my servers
Where there's a market for murder and sin
All former humankind and I can log their minds

Dialogue-
Val: VOX!
Vox: Huh? Val? Look I'm sorry, ok? I didn't think it was that a big deal. It's just a small transfer, I'll have it back where it was in a few days.
Val: Uh uh! Wrong answer!
Vox: Ugh! Fuck, come on Val let go of me!
Val: You think I want to do this?Constantly having to try and keep you in line?
Vox: You're crazy, I didn't do anything!
Val: Oh so now I'm crazy huh? You want crazy?
Vox: UGH!
Val: SEE! You think I wanted to do that?!
Godamnit the shit you make me pull.
Are we done yet? You gonna actually do what we agreed to or do I have to make you?
Vox: Yes, Val.
Val: Good, and clean yourself up while you're at it. I don't like being seen with broken merchandise.
Vox: .....Ugh... Ok, ok let's just- oh shit! *Sigh*
Verse 3
So I'll keep a tight control of what they can see
They'll never gaze behind the maze of cracks on the screen
His dominion
His opinion
Is the only one key
And though I try and hide it
He's got
Eyes On Me
Made a bet
Forged a deal
He got into my veins
A monster I'm in love with despite all the pain
And so I say this in my solitude
It's my decree
No one will ever know that I
Belong
To
"V"...
(OMG THAT TOOK FOREVER 🤣)
Thank you!
Thank you!
Valentino, I'm pretty sure you did wanted to do that, get a therapist ya slender
Thank you SO MUCH ❤❤❤
The background at the intro is the animus void from assassin's creed revelations
The ending is just like Addict’s. The whole time Angel and Vox put up a fake face, acting happy as hell until they have a breakdown at the end because of Valentino
*♾️/10, love your music*
This is a fantastic song for Vox. I'm actually speechless with how much effort you've put into this fanwork.
Flawless!!
I LOVE THIS!
Vox is actually my favorite character, and i love that you came up with a way for him to have a reason to be evil because i love vox💙👾
And the end had me wanting to hug him
it's funny to see now that the firsts episodes of hazbin hotel came out that their relation is more equal and it's more likely Vox who keep an eye on Val x)
So..he's your favorite character because of all he does or because he represents a "perfect" demon?
@@mycupcakegamer7235 I like him because he represents just evil and is completely evil in all he does. There’s no merciful or remorseful side that makes him look relatable to the audience. It makes him hated by everyone and helps him serve his role as antagonist. Plus design is 👌 ngl
I don’t even know if he’s a sinner demon.
He chose someone that was as depraved and level-headed as he was, and they’re both fighting to be “the bigger man.”
the last part is missing from spotify, it was my favourite part :( i love this song
You really are a jack of all trades, singing, voice acting, composing, sound design, the only thing you need is animation and you could do an entire show on your
And to the song, man this is an absolute banger, if you don't count the little scene in the middle of the song, it explains Vox perfectly without context, amazing job Dj.
Lastly, you may hear this a lot, but I think this should be animated, Viv won't animate every single fan song of Hazbin, but this really should be animated.
ikr..
Were both Vox and Val acted by Paranoid? Because if so holy shit, that’s Johnny Depp level flexibility in acting ability
Just double-checked the description since I didn't know myself, he does indeed voice both!! I'm even more impressed than I was before
These two on top of his Fizz, Angel, Alastor, Blitz, and THE STOLAS ONE ❤ He's actually insane
"Keep your eyes on me"
Vox has an extreme interest in being seen
And in hell he is shown as a television
I mean he gets his power from being seen so yeah
It's unbelievable that the current development didn't hinder my love towards this song
Honestly i really hope Vox and val sound exactly like this in HH these voices are just so perfect for the characters
Val is perfect but I was thinking Vox would have a bit more of a GLaDOS like robotic buzz to his voice.
3:33 I almost cried so hard this is sad
Interesting insite
Yeah i definitely think this was inspired by the instagram accounts which are no longer canon and was kinda just a way for the crew to mess around
To everyone saying this isn’t cannon accurate anymore I’m like 90% sure it’s cannon Val has broken Vox’s screen before
Even tho the instas aren’t canon he did throw stuff at him in ep 2, it would be more weird if it had not happened yet tbh lol
@@IdioticThree Fr
I really hope they some how lean towards this direction again tbf even though it would be super hard to write in considering how season 1 went
@@itzjazthefox1629 they did confirm they were in an on and off relationship in a recent livestream so it isn't as impossible as it seems.

HOW DID I JUST NOW FIND THIS SONG- ITS AMAZING
also in the actual show, Vox is literally one of my most fav characters and hearing this scene 3:31 and hearing the last part of the song made me cry-
imagine if they actually went with this idea tho in the actual show it would've been interesting
but im kinda glad that they didn't cus i would hate Val WAYYYY more than how much i hate him now
Ohmigosh Vox is my favorite character, too! I also want a reason for Vox being a villain, and this video makes total sense!
vox in this song: 🤡
val in this song 🗿
vox in the actual show: 🗿
val in the actual show: 💀
I thought Vox was Valentino's bitch, but it's the opposite
Thats literally how val should sound like, dead
WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
DJ this is beyond word the amount of effort you put into this has really paid off now i feel sad for Vox since he has to cope with it and the song really moved me and made me think more about Vox and now Vox is one of my fav also thanks for putting Vox relationship with Val into perspective and how it effect ower TV Overlord thx for this well worth it :)
The voice acting and sound design in your songs are so goddamn incredible, I'm simply amazed by how you keep bringing out banger after banger song
Honestly the voice acting bits at the end of your songs are my favourite parts of it all, everything's just.. SO well made, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next :D
2 million views later, and still- what a debut to original music. Freaking phenomenal.
And, as if more needed to be said for your penchant for audio storytelling, you made me feel bad for Vox. VOX. You mad genius.
Can't wait to see what comes next!
Fuc..
Imagine how insane it would be to meet THIS tone side of reletionship between Vox & Val

I love that i found this after season 1 is done being put up 2 years later and genuinely was surprised it wasnt recently released. Awesome job!!!!
So I'm not the only one.
I promised myself not to get attached to another Hazbin character, but here I am now, crying over Vox from all the overlords, damn your amazing techno music mastery
We need more vox songs 🔥🔥
