Rode this one today super fun very fluid and bouncy definitely easier than the commissioner not as fast or as damp but honestly more fun so this might be the one
I’m waiting on mine in the mail as we speak. I didn’t buy binding for it yet but I did buy cleavers last season for my 23’ ultra mtn twin but I guess I’ll start with those. My second option would be union atlas. I’m very excited to hit it with this thing and your review was spot on for me, so let’s go.
How did you end up liking this board? Currently considering it
a Board that invites you to open it up good speed/ acceleration . I had a m3 and burton but this thing has me attempting things I never had. Front side 180’s side hits all good fun . Stiff feels stable and comfortable.
I have one on the way to add to my arsenal…. Looking forward to it! Thank you
I got one dirt cheap this summer and look forward to seeing what the split tail is all about
You’re going to love it!
@@midwestsp3 Thanks, it seems legit
I almost bought one on discount just to try it.
@@brianp9268 I debated it as well and will try to remember to update this comment after I’ve ridden it

When’s your NS review dropping?
Next Tuesday at 7pm MST. Look for the #benetekbirdgang to swoop in after and deliver some #birdbanter
Hey angry really enjoying the videos, one thing i think could generally be interesting for many people is which size you rode. You could maybe put it to the rider stats
He does most of the time, not the last few though. I like it when he adds it too tho
Damp…lively…rocketship…it reminds my Banked Country 🔥
One last quick question, I tend to average speeds at approx 20 mph and hit high speeds of mid 30 mph on my super flexible true twin board. I live on the Ice Coast, as well. Would you say this is a good/fun board I can daily drive and hand well at my cruising speed or is this board too aggressive? Thank you!
If you want to go 60mph plus sure.
Is there a noticeable difference between the 24’ version compared to the 23‘?
Graphics.
Which size you recommend for the warpig?
I’m 6’4” 192 lb
I really want to go with the 154 but worried that it won’t hold my weight in deep powder
Then go bigger and see what happens.
What do you think about this board for me + what size? I am size 10, 5'6, 175 pounds. I currently have a warpig, but am looking for something when I am staying out of the park for the day and want to be able to charge through all the crap on the mountain on the way to the good zones + trees. Thanks!!
56 or whatever it is in that mid 50's range.
Thanks! !@@AngrySnowboarder
6’5” 185 size 14 boot.. looking at 160w mtn pig vs the united shapes cadet. Looking to ride it all mountain in Utah. Mtn pig seems a bit too aggressive for that terrain. Which would you suggest?
The one that fits your riding style and ability.
I’m torn between the lib tech orca and the yes pyl uninc for the winter season i’m about to do in japan. Which board would you reccomend for japow? I also love to butter and send jumps and side hits. Let me know what you think would be best between the 2 or if you have another suggestion.
Thanks
PYL UnInc.
I wear size 12 boots. Do you think it would be better if I get 159 or 160W
i'd go 160W. -TC
@AngrySnowboarder thank you. Can't wait to try this board out once the snow starts dumping
How does it compare to berzerker?
Wider, stiffer, has a split tail, shapes completely different,
Hi I am 5'9'' and 152lbs, is the 162 mtnpig to long for me?
Oh god yes.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks! you'd say a 159 or 155?
@@bryanwang350855
Thanks@@AngrySnowboarder
My daily
Nice. What’s your take on mellow cruising? Some say it’s easy and others not so much
@@kensmith9292 Define mellow cruising.
@@midwestsp3 Ankle and/or split tail steering on greens and blues. Basically not charging all the time
@@kensmith9292 Where are you riding your greens and blues could be way different then mine 😁 I’m in the mid west.
@@midwestsp3 Well if it works there it should be great in the Rockies
Hey brotha can you do a top 5 gear video. Just like goggles, helmets, jackets pants, etc. that would be awesome
No.
this or the peace seeker for bombing steep lines and powder?
I'd go with this.
Thoughts on this versus the K2 alchemist? I’m pretty in the middle of the two. Want something that will have my back when I send big drops and side hits
If you want slight volume shift and a split tail then you go this, more traditional shape but similar flex Alchemist.
How is it switch?
surprisingly good.
Can you ride switch? There's your answer.
@@AngrySnowboarder Haha very nice thank you.
Let’s start talking about these bases. I think for the money we all deserve these companies to all step it up
Step what up? High end structure, good material, definitely has QC.
Will the slim wall tech on Ride boards grip into ice better than the Death Grip on a spring break Resort Twin?
Yes.
@AngrySnowboarder thanks. Now which one has more pop? Shadowban or the Resort Twin?
Debatable.
How much different this r8de compared to the '19 one without the split tail?
This has a split tail.
I have 19’ or 20’ listen to what he says about split T weakness related to turning short choppy turn 19 opposite
@@brianstoody4565He said the split tail made turns more forgiving. That tracks with other reviews I’ve watched/read and is the main reason I bought mine.
Hoe does it compare to Gremlin on icy conditions?
Fine, keep your edges sharp.
How does it ride vs the deepfake?
It's stiffer, wider, more of a chunder buster or deep carver when you need to while the Deepfake is more of your all arounder.
I’m buying a new snowboard and I’m stuck on the Mtnpig or the Warca… which board would you pick? I’m an intermediate and and riding in the Rockies at sunshine village and Lake Louise
Those are two completely different riding boards.
@@AngrySnowboarder yeah I know but those two boards to me look like a lot of fun to ride, so I was seeing which one you liked better since I know you got to ride both
Oh are you buying me a board? Because I wouldn't ride either of these.
What size would you recommend for me? I’m about 5’11 155 Ibs (working up to 160 Ibs) and my boot size is 9.5.
I like a board I can manhandle I bit more for quicker turns. Thanks dude!
I also don’t want to stability to be sacrificed too much either
If you want to be able to muscle it around go with the 155. if you want more stability go with the 159. -TC
Thank you! Another quick question, I’m an intermediate rider in the Ice Coast looking for a one board quiver. A lot of people say this board is too aggressive for a daily driver? Is it because of the stiff flex. Will this board be too much if at times I want cruise at lower speeds? Should I be looking at the algorhythm or Deep Fake instead? I’m not looking to get into park or riding switch. Thank you for your time!
@@AngrySnowboarder Is this board on the cusp of being too aggressive to daily drive and progress as an intermediate rider in the ice coast… not looking to do park or hit major jumps. I do like to cruise at times. Should I be looking into the Algorhythm or deep face instead for a daily driver/one board quiver? Thank you for your time!!
